Yeah I pretty much only bought this model due to it being cheapest and, in my mind, most likely to be abundantly available. And I liked how it looked obviously.

Yeah, I just wanted a basic black watch. Oh well. Hopefully we get them before the Apple Watch Air 4 comes out.

same thing, 38mm, sg 3:04

im in new york area, and they usually don't charge till 2 days before since we are close to distort hub

then again cheapest model is usually very popular

When they had us "favorite" our preferred watches I wondered if they were going to use that to gauge interest in each model relative to each other. By the time they did that it's possible all they could easily change would be band combos though.

Considering how popular SG is, in retrospect I'm surprised how little I remember it being touted in their promo stuff. Also disappointed there are no SG friendly alternate bands (unless they made Space Black versions of any of them for the SS - classic buckle and mayonnaise in particular).

(*Yes I know it's not named after a condiment.)

i wouldn't worry, unless we are the ONLY model who actually is going to get ours at the end of the window, which i seriously doubt

Space grey 38mm

Since uk seemed to dispatch some today according any chance us starts today as well any thoughts??

I'm a UK 38mm Space Grey ordered on April 10th at 08:02am and haven't had any movement from 'processing' yet. Hate to spoil the hopeful mood.

Seriously thinking there is an issue with the 38mm Space Grey models.

That's been my theory from the wee hours of the 10th when the delivery window jumped out to May for this model almost instantly. The lack of any hint of prep to ship for anyone just reinforces the idea that there's a problem with fabrication of the Space Gray, 38mm especially.

While we all sit & stew, here's a website to add your order & track others:

Mine went too preparing for dispatch yesterday at around 2pm GMT, I ordered at 8:02. I'm in the UK by the way.... Fingers crossed for a delivery notification today!

Hard to believe that supply of 38 SG sports is so constrained that the only ones in the world are the handful that made it to UK distribution.

Since a few Brits have reported prep for dispatch, Quanta must have completed at least some production, and I can't believe an actual run of this volume model would result in fewer than multiple pallets - of which at least one or more must have been allotted to North America.

They've got to be in the supply chain ... Somewhere.

Would have been nice if they didn't advertise the model as April 24 window if none were gonna ship that day. I would have bought a different model had I known.

It was a bit interesting to me that no Apple Store had the 38mm SG watch to demo during the try-on appointment. I'm wondering now if it's because they were still trying to figure out how to make it...must be having manufacturing problems.

Well, my 38mm SG model will probably arrive tomorrow...
Am I an exception??? Sounds like that in this thread.
Best of luck to you!

I received the confirmation email for the 38 mm SG at :09 and have the 4-6 weeks delivery window. Still no change, though.

It's especially hard to wait any longer since I had an appointment at the :apple: Store yesterday which affirmed my decision.
