Do you know how long it takes to go from preparing for shipping to shipped?
It looks like it ranges from a few hours to about 12 hours I think. I had a feeling this week would be our week. I'm in shock still. Its interesting how there was no movement at all today until now.

I'm at xx:20 (also overslept)... Given how many "minutes" flew by over the weekend, I'm hoping to be in the next round, and I hope the next round is overnight.
They still have 9 days to beat the original earliest estimate, I have to keep reminding myself
Check your bank and your invoice it might have charged and gone to preparing for shipment!
Just got charged (had to update payment info - pretty sure it was an Apple Pay bug related to changing shipping address).

Today's my first full day with the apple watch (got it yesterday afternoon), can't wait! I'm sure you'll love yours too.
Officially "Out for Delivery" now.
For those still waiting, it looks like Apple is shipping these in bulk to the US and doing fulfillment here. When your order goes to "shipped" but you see no p/u action from UPS don't worry. The watches are already at the airport in the shipping crate and won't get scanned until the UPS plane is ready to take off for L'ville around 7:30 Pacific.

I received an email from Apple Sunday at 7am MST about my card not working (I ended up entering the wrong expiration ). After I got that resolved, Apple had charged my card and my order is now saying Preparing for Shipment!!!!

For those that had to adjust their payment method, did that cause a delay in shipment? I got the email from Apple about my card this morning at 3:00AM EDT (on the dot), and changed it at about 4:45AM because one of the cats knocked my wife's iPhone off her nightstand - it's what they do - and I was awake enough for my OCD to kick in and see I had an email from Apple.
This forum really has become a support group, or a dysfunctional family, or something.

If things go well my initial estimate will be off by just 2-3 days for me. I wonder if it was UPS or Apple that changed the tracking to originate in the US rather than China. The 6+ was actually a little more agonizing, wondering which plane it was on exactly, seeing UPS status sit in China for three days, watching planes land in Alaska until I zeroed in on the right one. Ah, memories.

Congrats to the latest round of recipients! Trying to figure out where this puts things. I think orders are now just past the xx:20 mark. Is there anyone else on the forum with a confirm in the xx:20's? If so, what is your status?
I had originally predicted that I'd receive my order around May 8th. Given my xx:33 confirm time, I may not be too far off.
I've also seen that some folks that had "June" dates originally have been "upgraded" to a two week window starting May 20/21. I'm hoping that means that all the original tier two's (which starts on May 13) should expect our orders before May 20.

Well, you were right... and I'm impressed.
My watch didn't switch to "Shipped" until around 5PM yesterday, and came from California.
It landed in Louisville Kentucky at around 2AM, so I figured it would get to Columbus, OH today, but wouldn't make it onto a truck until tomorrow. But at 7:11AM, it went out for delivery. They are estimating that it will be delivered between 2:45 and 6:45PM.
I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with how quickly it all went down once my credit card was charged.
I'm just a few days behind you, ordered on April 18th and in the same estimate window. Keep us posted!

Got my today ladies and gentlemen (xx:07 order). I honestly am a little disappointed in the size (the nearest Apple Store is over an hour so I hadn't seen one in person). With that said, it's still a pretty cool little device and isn't too small for my wrist. I've just grown used to a bigger watch as the last watch I had (bowl watch from Chick-Fil-A Bowl) was oversized and I had gotten used to it.

I'm not even on the April 10th batch... I regretted ordering a 42mm after a few days, and ordered a 38mm the 25th!
Same situation for me, except I ordered on the 27th.
