38mm Space Grey People comment status here!

Just saw that on the Apple site that the 38MM SG are now at 2-3 weeks. Really hope that means late April/early May orders are out soon. Why order early if they aren't going to fulfill?
 
I placed a 5/10 order in the U.S.

Original shipping estimate was 3-5 weeks, with the estimate beginning on 6/5. Now it's pushed back to 6/11 for the early estimate (2-3 weeks being the window). I get the feeling they're trying to build stock for in-store sales. I can't help but get a little frustrated. #
 
Well, I'm not too sour about this :p Tried it at the :apple: store on May 20th, ordered it later that day. Originally gave me a 3-5 week delivery time...two days later, I'm bumped to 2-3 weeks and a June 16-22 delivery.

Nice! Ordered same day but US so not expecting it for another week or two.

Also just switched my 42mm to another 38mm SG. I liked both in store and this being Gen 1 I have a feeling the kids will be wearing ours in a year or two. On the bright side, I should actually get my watch by Father's Day too.

Even stranger. Just got a charge for the 38mm I switched to today. Got an alert through my phone from Barclay. Didn't get one either time I made the original orders. Just apple verifying or did I skip ahead of people because I changed my 42mm order? FWIW, the amount was the full amount. No change in shipping status yet.

Weird. Let us know if you switch to PFS. I don't think I've heard of anyone skipping ahead due to a 42/38mm switch. I ordered around the same date, but I have no CC charge as of now.

I'll post if the charge rolls off without being permanent too. I did read of one other person who switched their size and "skipped" ahead. Not sure if it's because the order number stays the same or not. Could have been a fluke, or liar for that matter, too. In any case, the 38mm is already scheduled to arrive sooner than the 42mm was.
 
Ordered 38mm Space Gray on May 5, 2015. Still processing... Delivery window of June 01-June 12.

Boston, USA.

Hopefully we'll see some movement after the Holiday! *wishful thinking*
 
Any movement for anyone? I still have the charge from Apple but my order status has stayed at processing items.
 
I'm hoping to see some movement tues or Wednesday. It'll seem big but because the holiday in the U.S. I'm sure they are still making them like they have been.
 
Ordered On May 13, 2015, west coat Canada.
Credit card changed today.
Apple Watch Sport 38mm Space Grey Aluminium Case with Black Sport Band
Preparing for Shipment changed immediately.
 
I think the name of the game was not editing your order. I appear to have been bumped to the next batch of 38mm SGS (people with the same order time(ish) as me have got theirs already).

The only thing different is that I edited the order details. Hmm.

Interesting. I just canceled apple care for my order. When my window changed to the back part of my original window, I didn't like that. I still think ill get it before my original window though. But if they are expecting it in store in June then I will just return a defective watch and see if they release a black s/s with sport band or travel the two hours and pick it up.
 
To be honest I am quite surprised that it is already Preparing For Shipment today. Less than 2 weeks after the order too.

So it seems like 38 is much faster than 42, Canada and UK much faster than US.

So frustrating for us US residents
 
I've been patient since I placed my order, but this is the first time I'm actually annoyed by this. I thought Apple would be better than this. No offense to you Canadians, but ordering over a week after, and getting it earlier? You guys get the new Arc'teryx jackets before us, we should be getting the new Apple products before you. :p haha
 
Agreed. Annoyed is a good word. While the shipping date and 3-5 weeks are fast approaching they are still operating within the time frame they gave us.

It's just frustrating to see UK/Canada orders fulfilled well ahead of ours. But again, ultimate #FirstWorldProblems.
