For all the ignorants frothing on how 3D Touch is being discontinued even on capable devices, stop. Craig F replied to an user mail stating that it’s just a bug in the first beta.

Except that they did with iOS13 Beta 1

On home screen there's no point for 3D Touch.
It's now using Haptic Touch instead. I know because no matter how quick and deep I pressed, it took as long as the normal haptic touch.

That's what I was saying - no one is stopping you from press extra hard, it's just the same as pressing lightly.

It seems in iOS 13 haptic touch is doing all the same things as 3D Touch did. My XR haptic touch now functions as 3D Touch did. On previous iPhones.

So, if they do this then how would a long press work in replacing a hard press when doing something such as playing a first person shooter game where you have to have your finger on the screen to control direction at all times, but a hard press would allow you to fire at any time?
