3G iPhone To Include GPS, Be Only Slightly Thicker

getting on the internet even with no WiFi...

Am I the only person who does not give a **** about 3G??
Who goes around using their iPhone for the internet all the time even when there is no WiFi available?!?!.. That's ****ing ridiculous..

Maybe it's because I am in Canada and we simply don't have an unlimited data plan, but I can't imagine even using mobile internet besides WiFi in anything other than an emergency because it simply costs TOO much (****ing 5 cents per kilobyte!? Yeah ****ing right).

I won't be waiting. I plan on purchasing my iPhone within a few days and I can't wait a number of months @_@..

Also the shiny black is something apple just DOES NOT DO and the only place this has even existed so far in the Apple line is the iMac screen bezel and that's a totally different thing. It is hideous and the shine looks slimey like an ant. I much prefer the current iPhone casing and if it gets even thicker than it is now there's no chance I'd ever touch that black, thick iCrap...

So many people choose iTouch over iPhone because it is much thinner...

I don't think making iPhone thicker would help Apple.

GPS might be useful since I live in a city without a subway system so I never know where the hell I am going.. But for me I don't know if it is really worth waiting for. Plus I only need 8GB so if they discontinue the 8Gb model I donno.. @_@

With unlimited data and the wonderful interface of the safari web browser on your phone I for one can say I use the internet ALL the time when I'm not in a wifi zone. Which happens often in the area I live in. So when 3G comes out a faster data connection will be welcomed with open arms.

Its too thick now as it is, a new model ABSOLUTELY needs to thinner, not thicker, are you kidding me?

Who the hell wants GPS? You people like the idea of carrying RFID around with you that AT&T can sell out to anyone it wishes like it has done before.

I agree with you on this! And as someone else said here "relax they've had 1-2 years to plan/develop iteration 2 - it will be awesome!". Maybe - hopefully - they will release 2 versions - sizes.

I'm sorry when have you EVER heard Apple say "yea, this device has new features and stuff but it will be slightly bigger". Never.
