So there shouldnt be a quality difference over Facetime on 3G.

when i saw the update earlier there was a post that said you may get a "mistmatch error" when installing and to try later. I tried anyway and got the error. I tried again about an hour ago and the warning was gone and I was able to upgrade no problems.
Word. I read on another forum that 3g Unrestrictor doesn't have the youtube hd issue that My3g has. So i think im definitely going to give this program a try. definitely can't go wrong for $3.99

Not to mention...
You don't have to install ROCKcrAPP with 3G Unrestrictor...
Finally got Big Boss to cooperate and let me download this. License was still on file and no cost to move from my 3G(s) to my iPhone 4. Can't wait to try it when I get back to the U.S. tomorrow!
We need another way to test this for those of us that don't have friends with iPhone 4's. Apple should resurrect the Facetime tester!

If I wasn't going to use this for FaceTime (none of my friends or family have an iPhone 4) is it worth getting?
I'm not questioning if worth the $4 because FaceTime over 3G is worth that on its own if you'll make use of it. I'm trying to think of other reasons I'd use 3G Unrestrictor. Mobile YouTube is good for high quality video and MiTube can download them if I would like to do that. Also, Skype doesn't need Wifi anymore.
If I'm not thinking of another use let me know. I'm more than willing to support good Devs and their products. I just don't want to spend the $4 on something I can already get done with the things I have now.

I have mostly used it to download TV shows from iTunes and some music that is over whatever the limit is for iTunes. I hated wanting to buy a song when I am out and the getting that warning to connect to WiFi because the song is too large.

There has never been an affect on my battery in over a year of using this.

Developers don't usually upload faulty apps to Cydia (hence my, if you paid, re-download it) but sometimes the download quits early if repos are being crushed resulting in an error.

Im going to try 3gunrestrictor out to see if I can get my facetime working right. I am currently using my3g and it does work good. My only problem is that it will only work if I am the one sending out the facetime request. If someone sends it to me, as soon as I click accept it will say on their phone that I am busy. This issue occurs for me on both 3g and wifi. I tried to uninstall my3g and it stil would not allow me to connect to someones facetime request with wifi. Does anyone have this problem with either my3g or 3gunrestrictor?

Dev admitted on Twitter that it was his screwup. Nice to see him step up like that. All is well with the version currently in Cydia
I didn't remove it from my 3Gs when before I installed it on my iPhone 4. Give it a try. If it doesn't work (I think it will), no harm, no foul.

It doesn't use any additional running process so no extra battery use. It just replaces how the stock message app works on sending and receiving texts.
