Its right next to the "Yes"![]()
You can still get your 4.0 blob, I just did it by going into advanced options and getting it from Apples servers.
I've also updated to 4.0.1, and the baseband has not changed. The change is in 4.1, I believe.

It was surely Sarcasm aimed at the poster. He puts up useless post after useless post and seem to be trying to win the most post for the month.
thanks but I'll wait for Musclenerd to confirm what you said! though I sure your correct!
Agreed, wait on MuscleNerd.
But it has been confirmed 4.0 and 4.0.1 modem firmware are the same: 01.59.00
Leads one to wonder if 4.1 isn't going to be far behind.
Did you make sure your hosts file doesn't forward gs.apple.com to Saurik's server?

Never changed my hosts file, just looked and the only line it has for gs.apple.com is
#127.0.0.1 gs.apple.com
Which is commented out, so should be fine?
They said September for 4.1 but not sure.
This is only for iPhone 4. Those of us with 3G and 3GS need to worry about an updated baseband, too. The 3G/S baseband is far more likely to be changed, since the exploit is now public.
comex just said on twitter it was fine to go to 4.0.1
personally I'm staying on 4.0 as I'm working pretty good even in my office. It'll go to 1 bar but still keeps a signal.
so just for the new formula with the bars. I think I'll pass on this update
ETA: Unless the Dev Team say's go to 4.0.1 for jailbreaking purposes
No he didn't.
I just saved my 4.0 SHSH from Apple's server (after editing my hosts file to remove the mapping to Saurik's server). Seems they may still be signing 4.0.
MuscleNerd said:Obviously avoid today's 4.0.1 update until JB tools are updated. Luckily, no baseband change so ultrasn0w lives on![]()
Planetbeing just just twittered that he recommends not to upgrade to 4.0.1.
Musclenerd says:
Has anyone heard anything about when the JB tools are going to be updated?
