Need help, I currently have 4.3.1, and I have redsn0w and the iPhone 4.3.3 restore files on my desktop. Any way I can quickly update to 4.3.3 without iTunes needing to download the file again? It took nearly one hour to download it to the desktop the first time around.
Tried running redsn0w and when I click Browse and selected the Restore file, it says it was not recognized.
Thanks in advance for the help.
I am now on Jailbroken 3gs 4.3.2, BB 05.16.02.
If I will upgrade to 4.3.3, can it be unlock without the use of ipad baseband?
No. Why would you think that's even a possibility?
redsn0w 0.9.6rc16 is out, fixes the vibration switch problem some people had, and also i0n1c said on Twitter "BTW: by using the latest RedSw0w you also might decrease the battery drain.
"If youre already jailbroken at 4.3.3 (by either redsn0w rc15 or custom IPSW), you can install this fix simply by running redsn0w rc16 over your existing 4.3.3 jailbreak. Just uncheck the Install Cydia option and check any other options you want. "

Gonna run it now
I don't know about anyone else, but I was disappointed to find that my vibration switch is still messed up. I did the jailbreak last Sunday and seemed like this had been fixed. It showed up today...bummed![]()
Why would you ask this? Is this considered by Jailbreakers /Unlockers to be impossible to unlock?
Just upgraded to 4.3.3 and even preserved my baseband on Redsn0w.
How did you happen to preserve your baseband with redsnow?? I thought only snowbreeze will preserve it?
Probably used TinyUmbrella or just had TinyUmbrella installed and prevented the bb from being updated.
Technically, the TU server has to be running, but that's the basic idea.
Not true actually. The only reason I know this is because I thought my phone was bricked and I was trying everything to get it working again. I finally got desperate enough to try to update it in itunes and I didn't care about updating my bb. When it went through it still kept my 1.59.00 bb and I can only guess that it's because TinyUmbrella changes the host file. TU was definitely NOT running at the time either. Other people have reported the same.
