Are you guys sure they are going by the time you placed the order? I ordered a 38mm SS WSB on 4/10 and was charged and changed to preparing for shipment this morning. Here's the kick, I ordered it at 5:46pm EST.
SS WSB has been shipping much faster. Appears the demand was much lower than other models.
CC info declined for some reason on my 38mm ssbsb. BUT, I fixed it and should ship asap. Also, I ordered this 38mm ss days after the preorder date (last week) and it's shipping before my 42mm ssbsb. Funny how when we order our wives watches second they get them first
When did you order? I placed my order for a 38mm ssbsb on the 14th and got a May 15-29 date which then changed to 20-28 this Monday. What state are you in?
Hopefully this means the 38 is moving a lot quicker.

For those who have received your watch, from when it said preparing for shipment, how long did it take for your watch to ship?
Same day, at 1:00pm mountain time. I'm in new mexico. To me these are moving VERY fast. I didn't expect this until late May

Hopefully it ship today and I can get it tomorrow.
Also ordered the pink (actually it's coral) with date of 4/24 - 5/8 and got it yesterday
Shipped today.... No tracking number yet but hopefully I will get it tomorrow on the East Coast. Any words of encouragement that I will get it tomorrow?

Today the activity seems to have slown a good bit from yesterday.
We had 5 flights from various parts of China yesterday. Today only 3.
Hopefully more of us see movement today. I have a 42mm BSB SS order on the 10 still processing and a 42mm WSB SS ordered on 4/24 about 1:00pm central still process and pre auth rolled off this morning for the WSB. BSB has been gone for some time now. KEEPING HOPE

Mine was charged yesterday afternoon (like, right after noon), prepared to ship overnight (I fell asleep around 1, so sometime between then and 9am) and then shipped around 10:30am and is supposed to deliver by tomorrow.
Yet I have a 3:10:30 EST order for the same model that they've done nothing with... f you Apple.
Thank you!! I'm crossing my fingers I get it by Friday then! I got charged last night and status changed to preparing for shipment, but haven't received any tracking from UPS so I'm hoping it will be shipped today and hopefully I will get it by tomorrow or Friday. I have a housewarming party this Saturday and want to show it off!

UPS had the wrong address. I checked with Apple and they had the right address, but my UPS tracking said they couldn't deliver because the address was incorrect.
I just scheduled to pick it up at the UPS facility, but it won't be available until tomorrow... #letdown.

This morning my CC rejected the payment. I had it authorized by 8:00 AM EST. 38mm black sport BSB. I have since been charged but I am still "Processing Items". I was in the May 13-27th group and I still have the same ETA.
Why I don't, entirely, blame Apple
Yes, I'm still disappointed that I didn't get my watch on launch day.
Yes, I expected to get it on the 24th since I stayed up and placed my order as soon as the Apple Store would allow me in.
Yes, I was a little perturbed that others who placed their orders after me for the same exact model (or so they said) got there deliveries before mine.
However, I didn't make it into that first window and stuck with the May 13 - May 27th delivery window. So, I did end up with lemons
Then I thought about other items I've ordered online and have had no problems with delivery windows in the past. I also thought about how I'm, sometimes, given time estimates for wait times in a restaurant before being seated. And, again, not being disappointed with the wait. If the wait is too long I just choose another restaurant or skip it all together.
So, why is this any different? I think that my level of disappointment had more to do with my expectations and less to do with Apple's handling of watch pre orders. Could they have done things differently? Possibly, but it is what it was. It took me a while but I have accepted the situation for what it is. And, like the restaurant scenario, I had a choice to wait or skip. I decided to just wait
Now, if I don't get my watch in the delivery window stated I might go back to square one
