Because it is 4 to 6 weeks after the Apple Watch release date, April 24, not your pre-order date.
OK but this wouldn't put the date range correct either. It would be May 22 to June 5. They just don't match. I think the dates are bogus. Since the order time is down to the ordering minuet and seconds the date range should match the 4 to 6 weeks.:)

Yeah, that makes ZERO sense. It has to be from the day you order it...which for most of us was 4/10. Delivers by 5/13 - 5/27 from 4/24 is NOT 4-6 weeks.

Six more UPS flights set to land in Anchorage over the next 95 minutes or so. No way to say how many watches are on which planes (if any) but it is probably a safe bet we can expect another round of charges and shipments in the hours after the planes reach Louisville, KY around 1:30 AM EDT.

38mm Stainless Steel Case with White Sport Band
Email confirmation: 4/10 9:52 pm ET
Status: shipped
Charge: 04/30 3:40 am
Delivery dates: 05/01

I cancelled my first order of 42mm Stainless Steel Case with Milanese Loop placed around 3:10 am ET after I tried the watches on, since the 42mm is too big on me.

Now I just registered an account and want to share my joy.

Woohoo!!

My watch has shipped!! Looks like I'll have it for my bday after all!!

38mm WSB
Ordered 4-10

Changed from processing order to preparing for shipment last night
Also authorization for charges went on my card last night as well....

No movement on my 42mm SS WSB and 42mm SS Black Leather Loop (Large). Ordered them separately, and both has status as processing.
Ordered at 8am EST on 4/10 -- both ship dates still set for 5/13 to 5/27.

I think you are right, I noticed that the 42mm are shipping slower too. There must be more demand?

I think there is more demand for the 42mm. The 38s are being charged left and right whilst the 42s are just stagnant.

This.

As soon as you get charged, later in the day you get "Preparing for Shipment", and a couple hours later it goes to "Shipped". Then next day you get the watch!

Seems to be more or less true- I am waiting now on a 38mm SS BSB that I believe the charge went through last night, then today it flipped to PFS, but it has been there for at least 7 hours with no change to shipping :(

The overall order seems correct, but it sounds like there can be variance in the times between steps...

My cousin's 42mm Space Grey Sport is preparing for shipment

3:08am EDT.

Nothing on my two watches yet
Modern Buckle 3:04am EDT
42mm Milanese 3:30am EDT

The 38mm Space Gray Sport are not moving much at all. I think there are issues with all the dark colored watches and/or huge demand.

I agree, why would they lose all the valuable media coverage? The only media coverage they are getting now is from how bad they messed up the launch....gee good move Apple.. Apple execs aren't the ones that want to stand in line to get the product, so whats the difference if we want to wait in line for it? Its all about the experience of getting the product also.. They would rather have the apple store be a ghost town instead of a lot of people coming.. Who's bright idea was all of this? Did someone from Apple get paid from Google to flop the launch?

What was good about the line was that it was a happening! People shared various Apple experiences and it was always good natured never ugly like the WalMart Black Friday melees you see on the news. The Apple staff were always nice passing out water or coffee and keeping things upbeat. The publicity was absolutely priceless...every media vehicle print and broadcast covered it both local and national. What fool would pass on this? Answer: Angela Ahrendts. This snotty chick needs to go.

I don't know enough about her, but after this launch, I definitely think that she needs to reevaluate her future plans. This was kind of a disaster. I understand why they wanted fashion retail experience for this job, but they did not approach it correctly.

I've seen the UPS flight discussion, but haven't fully understood. Presumably these planes carry other company's products too? Or is there a pretty consistent pattern of watches being shipped after these planes reach KY? Thanks!

The only thing that matters is Apple, duh.

JK. I think it is more about how pretty much the ONLY way they are getting here is on those flights. So, if they are coming, they are on at least one of those planes.

My 42mm with black sport band was charged
Waiting on shipping

It looks like the SG Sport is up to the preorders that hit at :05. I thought I was an :04 but called Apple and they have me as an :07. The separate Milanese Loop band I ordered is sitting in processing hell.

I read somewhere that Apple charters the flights. With nearly a trillion dollars in market cap, I expect that they could charter whatever they want. Apple is a true baller.

It's primarily speculation, which is why I said "No way to say how many watches are on which planes (if any)..." but there has been a daily cycle of about six UPS planes per day making the trip from Shenzhen to Anchorage and then to Louisville, KY and a round of watch charges in the hours following.

It could be a correlation, it could be coincidence. It's a way to pass the time while I wait.
