It's primarily speculation, which is why I said "No way to say how many watches are on which planes (if any)..." but there has been a daily cycle of about six UPS planes per day making the trip from Shenzhen to Anchorage and then to Louisville, KY and a round of watch charges in the hours following.

It could be a correlation, it could be coincidence. It's a way to pass the time while I wait.

Did they pass thru on their way to Kentucky? Can someone check?

Just for giggles I opened a chat with apple regarding my order. After asking about delivery and or any information they could share she said...

"Everything looks great with your order." :D

Shipped but credit card not charged?

I ordered a 42mm blue leather loop for myself at 12:08am on 4/10 and 42mm SG sport with BSB for my husband at 12:09am on 4/10. I tried on the leather loop at the Apple Store on the afternoon of 4/10 and decided that 42mm was too big for me, so I cancelled it and ordered a 38mm milanese loop at 6:17pm on 4/10.

As things have turned out, I'm glad that I cancelled the leather loop because it seems like they're not shipping for a while. Also, there has been no change with my husband's 42mm SG sport that was ordered 16 hours before mine.

Today, the 38mm milanese shipped. I received a shipment confirmation from Apple, and it is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Is it weird that I haven't been charged? There's not even a pending charge. Just nothing.

I remember someone said something about how he called Apple CS, and how the rep kept saying something like "you're gonna be VERY happy this Friday" when he asked the rep if he knows anything about when it would ship.

So, hopefully the planes that are coming are filled with our watches since tomorrow's that Friday the rep was talking about.

This.

As soon as you get charged, later in the day you get "Preparing for Shipment", and a couple hours later it goes to "Shipped". Then next day you get the watch!

Is it true you get it the next day? That would be awsome, but seems too god to be true.

Mine has changed to shipped but I can't track it yet with UPS. I thought that meant there was a shipping doc/number but that it wasn't in transit yet.

My watch was at preparing for shipment this morning, then went to shipped early this afternoon. I have the tracking number but ups has not updated the info yet. It does say, in the middle of the page though, expected delivery May 1. Does yours give you that info too?

There's a way to track by your phone number that some have had success with even before the tracking number shows up.

My space grey 38mm sport just shipped. Ordered launch day and initially scheduled to deliver 12-26 May (UK).

Congrats! What time was your confirmation email?

22:47.

The best part is - and I'm VERY surprised by this - it's scheduled to be delivered TOMORROW .

Hoping that's not a glitch!

Hearing others are also getting next day delivery notifications.

i get more hope when the planes fly from Anchorage to Ontario, only because Ontario is like a 40 minute drive from me. But because the planes are headed to KY, the odds of my watch being on there is daunting. Does KY ship out to other UPS hubs?

No, UPS says it can't find the tracking number. The email says it will arrive May 1st. I guess I will check the tracking number again when I get home.

Please post when you get it....curious to know if the charge was the error or the delivery notice

They got previous authorization, they could run the charge anytime.

I've had this happen several times with Apple. I've received orders before a charge has even showed up.

So here's what's happening: people that ordered the 38 milanese are receiving their watches first than those who ordered the 42 version.###

Haha yep same here. Every time I look at my order I cry a little inside. Milanese loops have been missing out on the action.

Just from reading various threads on MacRumors, it looks like all 38mm models are shipping before the 42mm of the same watch. I think 42mm watches were much more popular than the 38mm, partly because more men ordered watches, and men have bigger wrists.

Forgive me, because I'm sure it's been said, but around what time have charges been beginning? I see the first plane gets in shortly after midnight.

There tends to be a lot of people with charges posted overnight (at least in the U.S.).
