no its not. that theory has been clearly debunked by people receiving configs ordered by people in the same country after someone who ordered before. go back and read the hundreds of posts in different threads and you will see it. get that crap out of here.

I just don't believe that. I have yet to see a case where someone who ordered in the same country, the same exact model, and have received it before someone who ordered it earlier.

False. Inventory for a particular style was allocated to different countries, and then they're delivered (roughly) on a first come first serve basis.

As an example, say China was given 500,000 SGBSB42 models, then not a single one of those watches is going to fulfill a USA preorder, regardless of demand in the USA. Unfortunately we're noticing some people that placed orders after others are receiving watches sooner, but it's within the same time window of a few minutes generally.

Just a thought - May 1 was the Labor Day holiday in China. Don't know if that impacted any shipments out, but if it seems slower delivery-wise here today, that may be why.

No way, someone is paying them or someone else to work.

Agreed.

My wife's sport with pink band arrived last week even though it was the May 13- 27 window. Ordered at xx:07.

Sadly no movement on my space grey at xx:09, but I haven't seen anyone mention getting orders from that window yet.

You'll likely get your tracking information overnight, some time after today's UPS planes arrive in Louisville... around 1:00 AM EDT.

My bank account was charged for the watch early Thursday morning and I'm still waiting Friday afternoon for it to change to preparing for shipment

Are we seriously still doing this? It is not arbitrary, it is based on:

1) Country
2) Model
3) Time of order

Leave it to the Internet to have a know-it-all. You have no way of really knowing the disbursement model you've delineated is what's actually being used by Apple, unless you're an operations manager roaming in the forums. Furthermore, even if this model were indeed Apple's true model, the apportionment of numbers 1 and 2 were made arbitrarily, unless of course you know how Apple judged market demand before pre-orders even occurred.

OMG OMG OMG IT'S HAPPENING!!! I don't know when it happened exactly because I couldn't check for the last 4-5 hours, but my 38mm SG Sports Watch I ordered from Quebec City is now Preparing for shipping (Expédition en cours de préparation) and I have been charged! :D :D :D :D Order confirmation email at 3:05:29. So excited!

I'm May 13-27 but it still says ships in 4-6 weeks. Is that normal?

I'm not sure anything is normal at this point.
I had the same thing as you until I got an email at 5:44pm yesterday saying my Watch had shipped! Wasn't able to see it on UPS until very early this morning. My bank card has not yet been charged, although my "available amount" is now less the cost of the watch.

UPS says my delivery will be between 3:45 and 7:45 today!

Mind you, yesterday at 5:43pm, I was sitting at 4-6 weeks with a May 13-27 delivery!

There may be a surprise in store for you sooner than expected (or maybe I just got lucky)!
42mm SG Sport; XX:04 on the 10th.

By all means enlighten me. Exactly how many verifiable examples can you show me of a shipping discrepancies that can't be explained by some combination of those three variables?

Looking at all these posts, there simply is no pattern. Some orders place early have shipped and not shipped. Some orders placed late have shipped and not shipped. The models varies and some have shipped and not shipped.

It looks like someone dropped the stack of orders and just piled them up, and they are starting from the top and working their way down.

Simply have to wait for the notification.
