I agree with you there, the 6+ wait was DREADED!! My god I had to wait until late Oct and ordered on the 20th of Sept. Hope this wait is less painful.
We should troll the 04/24-05/08 shipping thread just out of spite. It would be funny until they started posting pics of their watches before we had ours.
Last night I dreamed I got an e-mail saying my order had shipped. When I woke up, I thought it was true. Sadly, it was not.
Still processing. Still 4-6 weeks. Still waiting.

My brother got the 42mm SG model for 4/24... so it wasn't impossible. He used the Apple Store app with Apple Pay.
It's funny you mentioned that. I was in Paris for vacation last week and had to order it there through the Apple Store. I wonder if that influenced my date.
I ordered the SS with the black sport loop and my estimate is 4-6 weeks but delivery date of May 15 - 29.
Well I was in this group till a few minutes ago. Decided that I want a a 42mm instead of a 38mm. So I just cancelled and re-ordered a 42mm black sport for June delivery. I'm cool with the wait and maybe I'll have it a little sooner. Rather just get what I want and wait than settle.

I have tried them on 3 times and although the 38mm looks better on my 155mm wrist, I still kinda want the 42. Not sure if I'm patient enough for June though...

I went for 42. I know I would always be questioning if I should have went bigger.
I haven't seen one black aluminum sport model with an April 24 ship date. I think all of them have 4-6 weeks (at the earliest).

Mine started at 4/24 but was 4-6 weeks on confirmation.
I think they made like 10 of them.

I placed my order by 8:02am UK time according to the Apple order confirmation e-mail (orders opened at 8:01am) and my space black SS watch with link bracelet is due for delivery between 12th May and 26th May.
I was on the store at exactly 8:01am and immediately I saw some watches like the Milanese loop were shipping for the 24th, but the space black SS link said 4-6 weeks from the word go.
They never had any available to ship for the 24th from what I can understand. As I doubt that they sold them all in under 10 seconds if they did have any.

Exactly. My cart stated 4/24, but my confirmation email, which arrived minutes later, said May 13-27.
I also think they made 'like 10 of them.'
I tried to order the watch as quick as I could and be in the first wave like I was for the iPhone 6+ but I was out of luck this time when the website would not load for me, it wasn't until 8:06am UK time it came up! (I later found out the app worked ok ) So by the time I ordered it was 4-6 weeks 12th-26th May.
