The charge posted immediately to my Amex, still says "pending" but I didn't see that with my modern buckle order. Or even with my extra sport band order. So I'm hopeful that I'll see my watch next week, and I'll buy a modern buckle someday when they get enough unicorns to make the unicorn leather for them.

I did the same thing on Friday -- ordered a 38 mm SS WSB to replace my mythical modern buckle. ETA June, no charge, no progress for me. :(
 
So they ship these overnight eh?

Could NOT get into the Apple Store until 3:10am! Site kept saying "updating information", which loosely means they crashed with the flood of people ordering. I kept trying until I finally got in. THEN found out that my credit card had expired. Had to update credit card. Ugh! No doubt that helped push out my delivery into the May 13 - 27 group.

To add insult to injury....my wife ordered an Apple Sport watch, 42mm with white sports band FOUR DAYS LATER, on April 14th. Guess when she got delivery?! APPLE SHIPPED HER WATCH and DELIVERED IT ON FRIDAY, APRIL 24th!!! OUCH! I thought that the UPS delivery notice that I received on Thursday, April 9th was for me! UPS showed up at our door at 1:30pm on Friday, April 24th and delivered my wife's new Apple Sport Watch. Meanwhile I have to wait until...........who knows when?! May?

I'm wondering if the 42mm Stainless Steel version with sapphire display is suffering from some production problems.
 
Do you think Apple realizes the problem they have created for themselves with people ordering multiple watches to see which one gets there first and then canceling the rest? Talk about jacked up orders. It will only get worse with this tactic.
 
Has anyone else seen their order shipped via FedEx from KWAI CHUNG, HK? (I have a Space Gray Sport on the way.)

I received a FedEx delivery notification on Friday for a package coming on Tuesday. The name of the shipper is not listed, and for the life of me I can't think of anything I've ordered other than the Apple Watch that would be coming from Hong Kong. I have yet to see a credit card charge and the Apple Store doesn't yet show my watch as shipped.

The package is now sitting just a few miles up the street at the regional distribution center for FedEx.

Got an email from Apple today at 8:14pm central saying my order has been shipped. Coming UPS Next Day Air for Tuesday delivery. :D
