Nothing yet for me. Received order confirmation at 3:02 am EDT for 42mm SS w/ Milanese loop. I won't spam this thread up anymore. I will only post if I finally get a credit card hit and / or state change to 'Preparing for Shipment'.

Had to update my CC info with an Apple rep today. I ordered 42 Milanese at 3:01am EST, and confirmation email immediately. Apple never tried charging my card or, update payment status. Guess I'll wait and see!!!

This is quite the ask, but is anyone who received an email confirmation at or after 3:04am EDT whose 42mm Milanese has been charged & gone into "Preparing for Shipment" status willing to share their order number?

I have opened a case with a Senior Advisor for Apple Store, Eric Contreras, who is now investigating why some orders placed after 3:04am EDT (my time, specifically), but really anytime after 3:01am EDT, have already been charged & have had their orders change status before those who ordered theirs first.

If you are not comfortable providing your order number here, that is understandable.

You can contact Eric yourself, if you wouldn't mind, at 1-866-254-8313 ext. 48627 or at contreras@apple.com, and mention what is in regards to (someone who called concerned that orders placed after theirs have seen movement first, specifically for the 42mm Milanese version).

It WILL NOT affect your order status at all, but will help him investigate if there is a glitch in the processing phases for Milanese SKUs on Apple's end. It would be greatly appreciated not just by me, but I'm sure by all those here who are still anxiously awaiting order movement/updates.

Please let me know if you are willing to help us all out. (I'd do the same for you, were it the other way around, for what it's worth!:))

Thank you for your time, and enjoy your watch(es).

Why? Apple hasn't promised you that your watch will be delivered before everyone who ordered after you. They've said that it will be delivered between April 24 and May 8. There are presumably lots of very valid reasons why they may not go strictly first order/first shipped. I think the folks complaining about this sort of thing look remarkably childish.

I ordered the same time as him, but this opening of a case is stupid.

Same here. As much as I'd love to get my watch Friday, it's a little too soon to worry that something is wrong. There's no guarantee that, with as many orders of the same SKU coming in at the same time, it's going to be purely first come first served.

Well, my efforts, in fact, were fruitful, as just now my pre-authorization came through as the Senior Advisor informed me there was, indeed, a glitch in their system, and thanked me for my call and for bringing it to their attention.

Best of luck to those of you still awaiting preauthorization. I hope my efforts helped you as well.

Well... Pics or it didn't happen. And so what a supervisor can peg through a charge.

I also have 04/24 - 05/08 delivery date. Still "Processing", no charge.

My biggest worry would that the card got declined (fraud protection, not because of not enough fund) and Apple did NOT email me.

I don't know if this ever happen with Apple since I don't pre-order online from them very often, but it happened with other online store (NewEgg? can't remember) - the order just got cancelled and that's it. THEN an email was sent saying the "card was declined" and I had to call, but then the item was already OOS. Smh....

They give you time to call and provide alternate payment. I believe it's 24 hours without losing your place in line. They should email you but checking the order page is best.

Oh, so Apple DOES send email for declined charge? That's good.

And yes, I've been checking the order page quite often. . I wish the Apple Store app works with TouchID so I don't have to keep reentering my password.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds that annoying!

LOL, glad I'm not the only one who has thought the same thing. :D

My email came at 3:04 EST and I haven't been charged how fustrating. I can't even concentrate on my work or do anything until I get charged.
