I just checked with Apple about my order. Placed 4/10 3:01 am EST email confirmed order at 3:05am.

The rep looked at my order and all is fine. I explained my local bank is shutting down on-line tonight from 9pm - 12am, what if Apple tries to hit the debit card at that time?

I was told don't worry, Apple will try multiple times throughout the day/night to pull the money out before stopping. They don't just cancel an order due to a bank problem.

The rep also said that more than likely my card will get hit today and my 42mm SS Watch with Milanese loop should still arrive on Friday. They also added text update to my phone when the order changes. :D

I had an issue with my credit card yesterday. I was checking my order status constantly waiting to see "preparing for shipment", but instead I saw a "awaiting payment" status. I called my bank immediately and explained them my issue. They told me they canceled the transaction because of possible fraud, but that I can make the purchase again in about 5-10 minutes. Then I went to apple online store and verify my payment method (you can choose the same card or add a new one) and clicked submit. One minute later my status changed to "preparing for shipment". My recommendation, just check your status constantly, so you can identify if the payment didn't went through.

Also I am wondering, are you sure you made the order at 3:01 EST and received the confirmation email at 3:05 EST??. I ordered mine at 3:03 EST and the confirmation took only 4-5 seconds to receive it. It's weird that yours took so long to be delivered. Anyway, I hope you receive your watch on the 24th.

I'm thinking we should see an update this evening since others saw an update yesterday evening. I'm trying to stay calm though
 
Anyone for sure knows if apple is using Fedex?
They did give us the opportunity to upgrade shipping etc at checkout..

I'd expect to see Apple resume the billing process once again at 5PM EST this afternoon, and that's when you should all see order statuses update to "Preparing for Shipment."

Let's see...
 
got my email at 3:06 EST for confirmation. got an email this AM again for another applecare+ authorization after the intial fell off earlier last week. Hopefully this means the real deal is coming soon. Still processing. Awaiting for the watch to come through.

Pulling for ya, I have a feeling that a lot of us first wave people will see charges later today and will see our watches on Friday. :D
 
Just been charged for my SS 42mm Milanese Loop here in London, UK. Ordered within 1 minute of opening!! Bring on preparing for shipment!
 
My card was charged at 4:45 Eastern this morning. No change from Processing to Prepared as of yet.

Today is the day, this is good news, you're the first post 12:03 PST SS Milanese Loop to get their card charged that I am awaore of, gives me hope since I was 12:04am. :D :cool: :apple:

I should ad that my card is a BofA VISA via Apple Pay.
 
Okay I feel better now as I thought I'm the only one...

Mine was order at 12:02am and is still processing. I guess they don't have the 42mm Milanese completed yet.

On a positive note, if they charge my card on or after 22nd, then it goes to a new payment cycle haha.

Yes, my e-mail confirmation says 3:05am.

In the past hour my bank account available balance dropped by $743.00. Whoohoooo! it's starting to move, Apple customer service was right!

Every phone notification just keeps getting my hopes up.
 
I'm hoping they process today/tomorrow for shipment on Thursday.

My charger prepared yesterday shipped today and shows delivery for tomorrow. if the watch is on the same carrier I would assume it would prepare tomorrow,ship Thursday, and be received Friday. That is... If I am getting it Friday.
 
If BoA denied the charge then Apple would let me know, right?

Your status will changed from "processing items" to "awaiting payment" (or something similar). From then, you can submit your payment info again (use the same card or add a new one). Just for information, this happened to me yesterday, but Apple did not sent any email regarding this, you need to be checking your order constantly (I recommend the "Deliveries app" and refresh it constantly).
