Quick poll:

For those of you who have yet to move from "Processing Items" to "Preparing for Shipment," as is the case for me as well, how many of you are located somewhere along the east coast or northeast US?

I, for example, am in NE Pennsylvania

Perhaps location is what's causing the delay, rather than order confirmation times. In that case, our (Northeasterners') batches just haven't arrived to our local distribution centers yet, which is cause for hope for Friday delivery.
I'm in RI.

Still no charge for my 42mm as of 8:49AM PST. Watch will be shipped to Arizona (someday) Confirmation was at 12:06AM

42mm SS ML, 3:04am EST email, destination central PA (Harrisburg area), 4/24 delivery window... still....... processing.......... ugh. :(

I've never been more bummed to NOT have 740 bucks removed from my checking...

42mm SS ML, 2:04 CST here and still nothing.

lol @ bummed - I know, I'd like to see some progress.

But today is only Wednesday, still plenty of time.

I will never be so happy about my available credit limit on my CC going down as when, and if, my card does get charged today.

Trying to remain positive. Hopefully today. I'm just a few hours from Louisville and PA so hopefully once the process starts it will move quickly.

I agree with you. I've gotten packages out of TN overnight with time to spare. Not worried about the lack of shipping notice....yet. #

F you Apple... The carrier is FedEx out of Harrisburg, PA en route to RI. Not using UPS like I've seen on other orders/threads.

Relative to the other styles, it seems very few of this configuration have processed at all thus far based on activities in the macrumors threads. Hopefully they'll all process at once, or this model it seems will be in very short supply.

I don't want you to be right. The only thing keeping my hope alive is that I am pretty equidistant between Louisville and PA distribution centers, right along the interstate. Once my watch hits the states, it can move quickly. But since my card hasn't even been charged yet, hope grows dim.

I feel like I should be walking in the rain with a somber ballad playing in the background as I gaze longingly at everyone around me who's wearing their AW with Milanese band.

I don't want to be right, either. However, it is CRUNCH TIME.

I am concerned that this is probably the most difficult of all of the watch bands to manufacture, which *could* be a reason we haven't seen more process yet.

As to your ballad imagery, you must know a lot of people that got their order in in the first minute and half on the 10th.

They have had 5 months to manufacture the band. I am betting the delay is on the sapphire screen.

I think the link band takes that claim. Apparently it takes 9 hours to produce one, hence the price.

Chiming in from CT

Hey, all. I guess it's been so long, I needed a new account. Anyhow, 38 SS Milanese ordered at 3:02 went from processing to preparing for shipment, yesterday afternoon, along with the charges. Just wanted to add that FedEx has always been the carrier when I get deliveries from Apple, with DHL being the one exception (depot repair of a MBP). I think Apple will get them out on time...because, well, at Apple, "early is the new on time." Wouldn't do to be late with the Watch, now would it? :apple:

Still nothing...

Apple should begin hitting credit cards once again in a little over 2 hours.

Let's see...

Same as yesterday:
Apple Watch 42mm Stainless Steel Milanese Loop - 3:04 AM - 4/24-5/8: Processing Items

Yet:
Apple Watch 38mm Stainless Steel Milanese Loop - 3:05 AM - 4/24-5/8: Preparing for Shipment
