They may be in the UK. The pre-orders would have started at 8:00 AM local time.
Meanwhile, my 6:14 AM EDT order waits until May.

Still processing, no credit card charge. 4/24 - 5/8 delivery range...
I understand my order could be delivered any time between those dates, however I am not a fan of the date ranges vs a solid delivery date. I can see maybe having a date range for those that waited to try one on first and then ordered later in the day, but they should have had a more specific delivery date for those that got their orders in at the beginning of pre-orders.
Not as hopeful as I was yesterday that I'll get it on the 24th, but who knows, maybe Apple will surprise me yet.

I started to feel like, only a select few will get it on Friday, rest will be for Monday delivery.
There is no real pattern, but it seems like those who ordered within first 2-3 minutes will get their for sure( there are some exceptions - some one reported +0.16 who is getting theirs). Rest of us may get it on or before May 8th, as Apple promised.

Where are you having it shipped? If it's U.S. most of the shipments are next day.
Agreed, this process has been total bs. Im off work Friday as of now its for nothing. I wanted to be home when it was delivered. Gotta be hands down the worst apple launch execution ever.
And now those morons have moved on to planning their little retail exchanges of freakin bands as opposed to moping up this shiz blitz over here with us!
