42 mm SS Milanese Loop 4/24 - 5/8 batch

From another thread, an Apple support agent said that they are shipping watches in the order that orders were received per that specific configuration.

If true, that means that for those of us who want a better idea of when we might receive our 42mm SS Milanese Loop watches, people should continue posting when they receive charges/shipment notifications along with time the order confirmation e-mail was originally sent. It looks like yesterday they started to get through the :05 group (although it also looks like an :08 and :09 already went through which seems odd...).

For the record, I'm :07 and haven't seen a charge or any change from processing yet.

I'm :08 order :09 email and I haven't seen a change or a charge. Just a heads up.

Oh I know. Went into the NYC store on preorder morning to try it on after ordering at 3am. I was pretty astonished how much better it felt than what I was expecting and happy I could save on the leather loop expense for a while.
 
You can also post on Ordertracker.me and update there to have an easily checkable database if enough of us do it.

I'm Southern California, X:59+ order (back of the initial window). Still processing no charges.

Just to provide you more datapoints I'm an :06 42 SS ML still processing and got the working on your order email. I too have seen reports of later orders than mine shipping. There are either lots of factors in play or its just haphazardly being fulfilled.

Same here I'm a :05:xx confirmation. No email of death. Auth hold on my cc since Tuesday.

I wouldn't be surprised to see build weeks for this next batches of watches as this past week.
 
I got mine today... :( But I gave it away. I ordered a 42 SS black sports band for my boss, and his is in processing limbo, so I gave him my milanese. But it is super comfy! Will take a little getting used to though.

Just FYI I ordered my milanese at :02 pretty much the second the mobile app store went live (before store.apple.com site was up).

Here is my letter to Tim:

Hey Tim,

I’m loving you as a leader and am pleased with the direction Apple has taken under your charge. However, I am disappointed with the  Watch release. I am in San Francisco, CA and ordered and received confirmation of my watch purchase on April 10th at 12:06 PST which was 1 minute after the Apple Store app went live. Yet, my order is still “Processing” and it’s now April 25th. Mostly I’m upset because people who ordered the same model watch after I did received theirs today. I understood that orders would be sent out in the order received. I’m hoping there is a reasonable answer to mine being delivered after later orders but with nothing more than an odd confirmation email I received two days ago from Apple, I have no idea what is going on or when I should expect my watch to arrive.

Perhaps this was the best way for the  Watch to be released due to the many configurations available, but the lack of clear communication regarding specific delivery dates and confusion as to why later orders are being received first leaves the process with much to be desired. I hope my watch arrives soon. If it is to be delivered in a week’s time I would have been grateful to know that as soon as Apple knew of the delay. I hope future releases are handled in a more clear manner.

Man I can't wait to unbox. So freaking lame I know, but this feels worse than not getting the toy you asked Santa for when you were a kid!

Curious if you have looked up your serial number to see what the build week is. I've seen a few posts on other threads for different models with very recent build weeks.
