Where are you located? It seems that BCBs were today's major shipment, hopefully tonight we'll hear some good news :)

So my impatience got the best of me after receiving the "Apple Watch is here" email, and I called Apple to see if they could provide me any information on where on the list I might be. The representative was very understanding, but as I expected she wasn't able to provide any info outside of what the website had been telling me. She could see that AppleCare had authorized previously, and that there was a pre-authorization of $1 corresponding with when I updated my credit card information on 4/20.

She asked if she could confirm the name as it appeared on my credit card, and I had her add my middle initial which is how it's shown on the card. She reviewed my billing and shipping info, and after she updated my name in the system she informed me that the full amount had just authorized for my order. I checked my bank website (I've been doing this all day, and had checked prior to my call with no authorization) and found that there indeed had been an authorization for my order! I'm still in processing status, but the recent authorization has given me some hope I might see it ship soon. Not sure if updating my name had any effect on this (I can't see why) or if it was just luck that the authorization went through while I was on the phone.

I'll update again once it is preparing for shipment. And so you don't have to go back in the thread, my order date/time was 4/10 at XX:08, I'm getting the 42mm SS Milanese, I did get the "EOD", I'm in Wisconsin, and at the moment I'm still processing but my CC was authorized just a few minutes ago!

Good to know. I'm a :10 in northern Illinois. Still holding out hope for end of the week.

When did you order your watch and where are you located. I'm still waiting on mine.

My girl pink sport says it'll be here tomorrow but mine still processing.

Crazy thing is I ordered my Milanese one first and it had a earlier delivery window. Wtf#

Ordered at :05 I'm in RI. I believe the bands are in short supply. The steel wire is much finer than I expected. It makes for a soft feel. Very pleased with this choice.

I'm in the same boat as all of you. Website did not show up for me until 3:03-3:04 and then it took me about three or four minutes to figure out I could not buy the watch and extra bands in the same purchase. My watch order finally went through around 3:07-3:08. Got my confirmation at 3:10.

While I'm disappointed I have not gotten the watch yet, it did say 4-24-5-8 delivery before I clicked that checkout button. Just like it did for everyone giving Apple **** about not being prepared. Best I can tell apple has not missed any dates yet. We are still well within the window.

People say they should have been better prepared. Apple had no way of knowing they would receive potentially millions of orders in the first weekend. The smart watch market has been trying to take off for years and it has been seriously struggling for even minor numbers. Apple was probably anticipating several hundred thousand orders, not several million. It would have made sense given the existing smart watch market and apples VERY expensive offerings.

If they had millions sitting around for launch day and received 400,000 orders it would have been seriously bad news for Apple. The demand for these is astonishing and Apple was simply working off of the best guess scenerio.

That being said I'm surprised the IT department at work has not stopped by my desk due to the number of times I've clicked the refresh button on the Apple site over the last week. #

I would really love to know apples answer as to why people ordering the same watch at a later time are shipping while other sit in processing forever.

I really question if they're basing place in line when they process emails, I was done ordering 5 min after the preorder start, I would think that stands more as my place in line

I wonder how many people just clicked the order button during the wee hours of that morning without really noticing the delivery date, or just assuming it would show up on their door on launch day, as Apple products usually do. #

Congrats on getting yours! It really is sexy, isn't it?
I'm having an emotional affair with this watch. It's well worth the wait. The band is so light it's like just having the watch resting on your wrist. I also happen to have a Milanese Tiffany ring that matches quite nicely

If my status doesn't change by tomorrow night I'm taking the first Apple watch I see in public and I'm smashing it :)

I suspect apple has locations throughout the country they have designated shipping locations for. So if the Tennessee location has them they would go to surrounding states before states farther away. It seems like there are pockets of states that lag behind others, and this theory may explain that.
