My story is very similar to yours. I'm a long time early adopter and purchased devices on launch day in the past without issue. I even work in IT so I'm use to the ridiculing from coworkers.

I'm pretty close to considering cancelling my order as well. Some of the "magic" of this device goes away when it takes so long to get it.

Unfortunately when Amazon releases their watch you can guarantee they will be selling something on the screen every moment they can. "What time is it? Time to buy the latest Kindle!"

I am not saying that Amazon will be the answer. I am saying that somewhere out there will be a company that is capable of coming up with comparable products and will get them delivered on time like Amazon. I bought one Kindle just to have something cheap to play with on the beach. It is not the competitor Apple and we need. That is the REAL problem. Apple knows they can do whatever they want and we will still buy because nothing out there is close. Android is s__t. I don't care what you say. When Apple gets a true competitor in the current market we may see REAL change.

Dang

Wow, that is really tempting but you are right. I have to say no. I'm a huge Apple nerd and cannot wait. Watch is coming tomorrow morning

Just hope I don't see you around town so it makes me feel worse for having to wait longer. To be safe, don't go near any Miramar Breweries for the next couple weeks if you want to keep my (falsely attributed) anxiety down.

As someone who waited in line for the first iPod at 14 years old (and many subsequent products), this wait probably has been the most excruciating. Especially since I have a big work meeting this week and I know everyone will ask me about it, so I get to show them my bare wrist and explain how much I failed as a super nerd. Guess it's my fault for not buying a Sport model as temporary hold-me-over.

Apple just trolled me hard...

Yeah... That email was a bad move on marcom's part.

I check this thread every day. It's nice to know I'm not the only one tearing my hair out over this. I'm really close to canceling my order and just getting a sport.

These better be filled with Milanese!! Or I will not be happy!

What happened to these planes?

Finally got mine...I like it but now wishing I had ordered with the Sport Band (expecting May delivery) or Link bracelet

Will this ever end??

Yes, it will end. I'm wearing my watch now after having just picked it up from the UPS station. I was a 1206 person so you're coming up soon. My best advice is to distract yourself. It will be just as exciting when it does come. And, think about this. Those little Chinese hands will be so much more adept at making these watches by the time they make yours it should be perfected. :)

It's not your fault for not buying a cheaper one in the meantime.
They should've had a lot more stock with how much they were hyping this product up. I've camped in line for 3 iPhones so I'm also a fan. Awaiting the UPS truck this morning has been killing me! But I know I will get it by 3pm today and I am off work thankfully.

Side note: My girlfriend stayed up with me at midnight to order her 38mm black sport band SS. Her email confirmed a 42mm. She didn't know what to do; panicked, and ordered a 38mm again minutes and minutes later. I think she ordered at 12:15 or later and she is getting hers this morning as well. Crazy.

It's a sad day here in the land of unshipped milanese loop :apple: watches:( I have not seen an iota of movement for our model in any forum here. It looks like today is 42mm SS BCB day, not ours. Another day wasted waiting for this damn thing to ship, and another day of disappointment for us all it seems. Hopefully there is some action for us tonight, as for this afternoon, we are SOL...

What happened to these planes?

They delivered. More people got shipments and are out chasing UPS trucks.

Here are today's flights.

Welcome to the club. Maybe not such a good club to be in at the moment as we are all watching paint dry.

I prefer to think of it as a "watched pot that never boils" ... I keep trying to not watch it, but can't help myself. I'm surprised my credit card hasn't suspended my online access given the number of times I'm logging into it and checking it every day.

(I ordered my watch at 12:06)

Tracking UPS flights won't be very productive.  revamped their freight system when Tim Cook took over. They no longer use just UPS (or FedEx). Now, they use various shippers along with the old shippers plus some old Russian military carriers. (I don't know who flies those.)  distributes to warehouses all over the world. Some flights fly straight from China to Kentucky.

The reason for all this transportation secrecy is because  doesn't want flights tracked. Many pallets are not marked in any identifiable way to the untrained eye. The freight is more secure this way.

I did see a :10 ship today. I don't recall if it was the elusive Milanese or not, but I'd say it's probably good news for all of us.

If mine doesn't arrive by 5/8 as it should, i will
cancel. I want it but i don't need it THAT badly.

If our :apple: Watches don't arrive by 5/8 :apple: will have much bigger fish to fry as that would be the very first time they did not live up to their guaranteed delivery date (range in this case). As upset as I am and as we all are, they are still well within the delivery window we all received during the pre-order process. We all want our watches now, but at this point we don't have a leg to stand on as :apple: hasn't technically done anything wrong as of yet. We are all just impatient and used to getting our :apple: devices on release day. This truly sucks but we need to hang in there. We've waited this long, so let's make it worthwhile!

Congrats and enjoy it when it arrives Swerthy! You give me just the slightest bit of hope as you're a minute before me but on the opposite coast...

I've been following since page 12, thought I would be loved by Apple, but obviously still awaiting and trailing the forums for my next unboxing fix

My confirmed time is at 12:08:28 AM PST, same type, except Northern California :/ still processing...
