My watch just shipped. TX. xx:10.00. Tracking hadn't updated yet. I expect I'll receive it tomorrow!
I haven't switched from PFS to Shipped yet, nor does the Track By Reference trick work yet for me. So the drama temporarily continues... (hopefully not for too long.)
Edit - I refreshed my status a few min ago, just before writing that, and still said Preparing For Shipment. And now a few min later, I refresh again, and I have Shipped, with a (not yet in UPS system) tracking number. So either they JUST updated me, or it was a cache/cookie issue.... but anyway, I am happy.

Order confirmation came in at xx:11:01 in the 5/13-5/28 range. Just got charged and went to PFS at 11:58am ET!!! Good news for the second group!
My tracking number for UPS hasn't updated yet but my Apple email states a delivery of May 6th, tomorrow, as well!

My watch journey is now complete (until my link band ships ). My watch arrived today, 4/10 XX:08am order, 42mm Milanese. So far I really love it. No issues so far, other than the lack of productivity today while I get it set the way I want it. Glad to hear so many of you are finally seeing movement.

UPS still doesn't have my order in a trackable state, but my support profile contains my Apple Watch serial number. According to this site it was built in week 17. If I understand how Apple's weeks work (starts on the first week in Janurary that has a Thursday?) then it was built sometime between 19-25 April. If it starts on the Thursday then it it was built between 23-29 April.
I'm identical to you atrophic... UPS tracking has not been updated and my watch is from the Week 17 production run.
