Thanks for your tip. I'll try your mirror test :). I think that's more important the width than the wrist size.
I'm also a bit scared of the 38 with the screen with the "mechanical watch face" (circular) that in the 38 will look like a small coin.
I've painted the paper AW black to figure out if the 42 won't look an iphone on the wrist or TV screen.

Still trying to decide...like you :)... Going nuts :)

Yep I just keep going back and forth lol. I'll try and get some pics the next time I go in and post them here. Hopefully it will help out, they can be good if you get some distance. I think the OP's pictures are pretty representative of how they look on me as well but can't hurt to have some more.

Regarding the OP pics, they're from a SS milanese band and I thinks the fit on wrist will be different from the Sport I'm trying to decide, because of the bands and the connecting points to the watch case.

Another 38/42 (more text and bigger letters displayed on the 42)

Glad the Mirror Test helped out! I found it to be the most helpful and the difference in your pics is how I felt too. Whenever I see it like that I usually lean toward the 42 as well. I also figure that's exactly how people are going to see you wearing the watch so seemed like a good way to test. So overall I'll probably end up with the 42 because of that.

I agree the band choice can have a big impact for people that are in between. I'll try out the sports when I go and try and post some pics here. Not sure when I'll go but probably before the end of this weekend. I had gone a few times quickly and figured it may be good to take some time and think about it before I go back.

Thanks again for mirror tip.
Good luck and take a deep breath before you decide.

My wife thinks it's the 42.
I'm 46 and wear reading glasses, so the big text/letters will be a plus (not wishing to wear reading glasses to check time.. :)

I'll be going 42 Sport White band + Sport black band.

Let me know your final decision after AStore visit

I think either look fine on you. So in that case I would go with the 42 for the bigger screen and battery.

Its all personal taste. i am 6 ft 5 and i would nave no issue with the 38. I hve an original pebble (42) and the steel (more like 38)

they both look good

You're welcome glad to help! I'm probably leaning to 42 as well I'll post back with what I decide though and try and get some pics from my try on.

Nice. You now see what I mean?
Distance in taking the pictures is really important.
In my opinion it is not just the wrist size.
Hand size and your body height also matters.
I would suggest you the 42mm.
But keep in mind, that the sport band is strange. It makes the watch bigger. But i think it will be ok on you.

I did a comparsion photo to show you what I mean.
Both are 42mm watched on the same wrist.
Right Photo is taken from distance and the left photo is a closeup photo.
Its a big difference, or am I wrong?

Anyone with a wrist under 160mm should go with the 38mm IMO. 160mm-200mm can go with either one, and over 200mm should go with the 42mm.

At 180mm I opted for the 38mm and love it!

I think the 42mm looks too large on the wrist in the photo for the milanese loop.
