You are probably correct, and that would be well within the original window.

However, it's also possible, as others have proposed, that there were many more orders in the 5-7 range and that it may loosen up once we get past the crush of orders in that range. We also may see increased numbers coming out of China as production continues to ramp up. We can only hope for an early present while still being sure we will get them within the original shipping window.

I hope your right. My order is xx:06:48. And absolutely NOTHING has happened. When I called the rep they said I would be seeing something possibly happen around the 13th. Which is why I am thinking maybe the 20th for the xx:14:00 minute mark.

FYI...the shipping origin is HARRISBURG, PA US.

What I find interesting is that in the past my pre-ordered items showed shipping originating in China. I could track its progress from there through Alaska and see the customs clearances and/or problems. Now it skips the techie foreplay and gets right down to business. ;^)

Also in the past Apple used FedEx for the deliveries. This one is with UPS.

I would tend to agree, I was hoping that it would be here before I go on vacation 05/19 but based on watching the times here that will not be the case. Apparently we selected one of the most popular models as I saw a post in a different group that SS with BSB XX:17xx was just shipped, that is about 9 minutes further than our model.

The question that runs through my head is are they producing more of the models that have a higher price point?
