There's a bunch of planes in the air right now. I wouldn't be surprised if cards start getting charged again tonight into tomorrow after the weekend break. I believe Preparing for shipment is when the watches are put on planes in China.

People are commenting on how it seems to have slowed down. I was expecting a bit of a slowdown today only because it was a weekend and holiday in Japan. I'm sure we'll see more updates in Credit Card charges starting tomorrow or tomorrow evening.

As of around 8:00 this morning my Space Grey 42mm ordered at 3:06 A.M on April 10 went from processing items to preparing for shipment. Credit card has been charged.

UPDATE: Just recieved a shipping confirmation from Apple about 10 minutes ago. The interesting thing being the fact that it says delivery is scheduled for tomorrow.

Very cool. I ordered a black leather loop for my SG. Still wondering which will come first

Since the final product is assembled in China, I'm not sure what a holiday in Japan would impact immediately in the pipeline. I would assume parts from Japan would be sent and then assembled impacting the pipeline further down the road, but not now.

Just curious.
