I agree, logic dictates that as we get past the initial rush, there will be fewer orders per minute/hour made, and we should see them moving past the various thresholds more quickly. Unfortunately, that needle seems to be a moving target as each time frame comes and goes and the fulfillment speed, if anything, seems to slow rather than increase.

The report of production issues with a supplier also said that Apple had asked other suppliers to cut back until June. If this is true, then Apple does not expect to have the ability to ramp until June. If they did actually scrap a portion of already produced watches, then they were way behind the curve on launch day and do not have an easy way to catch up until June.

The wait is real and people really should not expect "earlier" shipments. While some may be getting theirs earlier than first quoted, there are many more that will be waiting out the full 6 weeks, myself included.

This Friday will mark week 4 of 6. I will expect mine to ship sometime after Friday.
 
I would expect a good number of us to see some movement by Friday the latest. Considering we are approaching the front of our delivery window (13th) we should start to see prep for shipment by late Thursday, Friday. We've waited this long. What's a few more days right? Puts it in perspective. And I have seen first hand that it is indeed worth the wait. My wife got her watch on launch day 38mm white sport. We are almost there!

Honestly how could anyone here actually know what you are asking. We don't know how many sold each minute after preorder began. We don't know the yield or ship rates from the factory. All we can do is make crazy speculations and wait. Personally I am not a fan of assumptions or speculation when there is not a single supporting fact available.

Based on the data I've collected, I think the majority of 42mm SGS (in the US) hit between XX:05/XX:06 and XX:10. (Accounting for the fact that most "hardcores" used the Apple Store App to place their order in the first 3 minutes, while the majority of others used the website, which didn't come up until almost 3 minutes after preorders opened, and assuming it took 2-3 minutes for those first website people to submit their orders.) I think by the end of this week, we will be up to the XX:07-XX:08 orders (at least), and will probably finish out the bulk of preorders by the middle of next week.

You should start seeing the times of preorders start to move a lot faster after this week. So, XX:11-XX:20 people, I think you ship next week, easy.

That is not really a fact unless you have a list of orders from Apple to back it up.

My (very rough) math shows that currently Apple is delivering about 32.72 seconds of pre-orders a day. Using that logic it should take 14.05 days for my XX:07:40 watch to be delivered. Hopefully I'll see it this Thursday or Friday.

I hope so too. That would mean I would see something soon (hopefully). XX:06:15 here. I figure I would be in the next charge batch, but doesn't seem like anyone here has been charged since yesterday morning.

Like I said above, I think we get up to AT LEAST XX:08 orders by this Friday. Starting Monday, we should start seeing the number of "seconds" of orders start to double. Apple will probably start clearing a whole minute of orders by Tuesday, with each day beginning to earn an additional 2 minutes per day.

For example:
Monday - XX:08-XX:09
Tuesday - XX:09-XX:10
Wednesday - XX:10-XX:12
Thursday - XX:12-XX:16
Friday - XX:16-22

Monday - XX:22-XX:30
Tuesday - XX:30-XX:40
Wednesday - XX:40-XX:52
etc...

Of course, this is all a complete rough estimate...but I definitely think as the amount of preorders made at specific times decreases, you will definitely see a pickup in the range of times that are covered each day. Even by cutting my estimate in half, and only adding an additional minute per day, you'd still end up with Apple serving out orders a week ahead of the current shipping schedule.
 
I'm highly amused and impressed that people correctly knew there would be no orders filled in the US today because they saw that no UPS plane left China yesterday for the US.

We live in a funny time where nothing is left to speculation.

i ended up going to maxfield and getting the one i want w/o a hassle. (lol) however, i haven't unboxed it yet. i saw a guy wearing one the other day, and he was making it look incredibly deushy for some reason. maybe it was the white sport band, and the way he was holding his wrist up so everyone could see it.

still waiting on my xx:13er.
