Very much disagree. There are specific routes for the watch, so it isn't a matter of any given UPS plane being in the air. When there were no flights last weekend, there was zero movement on orders. When there were a bunch of flights from China to Alaska to Louisville, there were a bunch of charges.

Not many charges went through yesterday...not many planes flying from Anchorage to Louisville today.

What part do you disagree with?

Everyday somebody asks if there are any flights. Weekdays in particular. And there is. UPS77 is a regular Route from Shezhen (Where this forum has largely come to believe watches originate from) to Anchorage and then after redistributing some of it's load it carries on to Ontario, CA. It flies every weekday. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS77/history/20150507/1110Z/ZGSZ/PANC

Everyday there are 4-5 or even more flights from Anchorage to Louisville. Depends on how much freight they have I'm sure.

Finally on any given flight on any given route and on any given day we have no way of knowing if there are or are not any watches.

I settled on the idea that we were charged after planes landed in Louisville.

HOWEVER, I was charged at ~2:00am Eastern, soon after planes landed in Louisville. But then my tracking number did not show in UPS system until ~2:00am Eastern the following day, right when other planes landed...and it was date stamped Louisville arrival at carrier.

With this in mind, I'm back to thinking we are charged when the watches are preparing to ship out of China, and receive tracking info once they land and are scanned in Louisville.

Just received shipping notification at 12:29pm Mountain. I had the 13-27 window as well.

Shipping information isn't up by UPS.

Not sure when the card was processed.

Apple watch might specifically use this route, but this route is not specific to Apple watch. We can hope that UPS planes coming from Shenzhen to Anchorage then Louisville packs some Apple watch. But we never know. There could be computer hard drives, clothes, chairs, even rubber ducks on that plane too...

When is the latest in the day that we have seen a shipping notification come out while still receiving the watch the next day? I'm at 12:07:32 so I'm hoping I squeeze in today for shipment tomorrow. Thanks.

If you haven't been charged, I think it is slim to no chance to get it by tomorrow. I hope I am wrong since my time is right there with yours.

This is new, what carrier is the shipping info for? If you have a tracking number then the deliveries app on iOS should provide you with the most likely carrier.

seconds diffrence

I think everyone from now one should be clear and give us weither they have email confirmation or apple chat time in specific when they get charged so we can better know where we at since its going down by secs in shipping and it throws off when we see these seconds, so if we can share that bit of info it be great what does everyone else that still waiting think of this idea?

I think he meant ups hasn't updated info, and not that its not ups shipping his watch

Honestly it makes me think of the song by Styx "Too much time on my hands." There's like a 4 second difference between order time and the times on the emails. I for one a, not going to go to Apple chat just to find out my order was placed 4 seconds before I got the email.

Possibly an overstatement? It's far from crucial. It isn't even going to change when you'll get your Watch.

You may want to. I have a buddy who got his email confirmation at XX:08. Down side was since he went on after pre ordering the watch he ordered another band. I guess they got packaged together or something. When he talked to the apple chat people they told him his time was XX:10.

Not enough time on my hands. It will get here when it gets here.

I felt dirty after doing it. Realized I was completely wasting their time for all of 6 seconds. I think everyone is best just realizing that there is going to be a small margin of error in the shipment times and orders.

Just switched over to shipped. UPS doesn't have tracking information in their system yet. Shipping to Louisville, assuming the watch is in Louisville. Wish I could just go get it. Apple says it will be delivered tomorrow. Went from processing to shipped in around 12-14 hours.

Confirmation email 07:27.

Apple reps are constantly screwing up minutes and seconds, so it seems likely that that is what happened here. This would be the first such case I've seen of Apple having something in the system after the e-mail was sent.

Or the Apple Chat person only looked up the most recent order.
