I had surgery less than a week after the original announcement of the Apple Watch in September. I told my children that if anything went wrong with the surgery they were to keep me on life support until the Apple Watch was released and to bury me with it on. As you can tell, I'm still alive! Although this is the day they would have pulled the plug..... This is the day that I am going to pull the plug on this thread! I wish all of you the best of luck in your struggles and hopefully you will receive your watch soon. This is my final data:

42 mm SG Sport
Confirmation email: 2:06:48 CST 4/10/2015
Apple confirmed time: 2:06:44 CST 4/10/2015
Credit card charge: 1:52 AM CST 5/6/2015
Shipping confirmation: 5:12 PM CST 5/6/2015
UPS delivery: 1:42 PM CST 5/7/2015

Glad to see that your recovered and now enjoying the Apple Watch. Please do share your location info too.

Happy Apple Watching :)

This forum has turned into a bunch of people losing their mind because of the lack of updates!!! Come on Apple HELP us and give us something to cheer about again!!!! Last two days have been brutal.....wishful thinking guys

I can't put a ton of stock in what I'm about to say, but I figure any news is good news...so, here it goes:

From what I have been told (and I can't reveal my source, or give any clues...sorry)...expect tonight's shipment to be "extra-full" of 42mm SGS. Should clear out the XX:07 and XX:08 orders for the US.

If this is true, move up my estimation for next week to have XX:25 (maybe even up to XX:30) orders shipped by next Friday, again, IF THIS IS TRUE. Seems as though another "ghost plant" has come online to run ONLY 42mm SGS to clear out the backlog...and these could be coming from overseas via someone that is NOT UPS...but will be delivered to Alaska to be taken elsewhere by UPS...so, untrackable...

Take it at face value. I cannot provide any proof of these statements.

I think your source should get himself into the witness protection program. Today has been an overwhelming non-event.

adios amigos

This was my first time preordering an :apple:Product and honestly, its been a frustrating nightmare. But not really, its just a first-world problem imo. Yes they jacked up the launch, so much so that I might not preorder again and just wait (I REALLY WANTED THE :apple:WATCH THOUGH, THATS THE ONLY REASON I DID IT). Im xx:07:21, charged last night at 10:40p, shipped today 5/7 at 2:30p, and will receive it tomorrow. IM OUT!!!!
Good luck and happy waiting!

This is new, what carrier is the shipping info for? If you have a tracking number then the deliveries app on iOS should provide you with the most likely carrier.

Checked...
It is certainly UPS.

The Apple Store has it as shipped. The UPS site (also the deliveries app) has it as "ORDER PROCESSED READY FOR SHIPMENT."

Ya was a surprise as I'm not seeing much movement on hear for other XX:07:20-40 like it was last night so it was certainly a surprise to receive the Apple Store notification on my phone.

Again it was XX:07:29. And it was ordered through the Apple Store app on my phone.

What is the latest Canadian conformation time we have seen for this watch that has at least gotten charged?

Remember the days when people's cards got charged and we saw full 10s of seconds join the ranks of the charged? The old days when it seemed like your xx:10:xx + confirmation time seemed like an "any day now!"

Those were good days. Today, on the other hand, not so good.

I ordered two; one at xx:05, and one at xx:14 for my gf. We went to try it on and she didn't like it and told me to cancel hers.. Me thinking since the ship times were the same i could cancel whichever one and it'd be fine, so i canceled whichever (happened to be the xx:05 one)....Boy was I wrong. It still haunts me in my dreams that i could have had it right now if i didn't make that mistake :(

That will haunt you for a while! At least a few more weeks. Yikes...

So, what happened? This was yesterday when you said this.

It's been real "42mm Space Grey May 13 - 27" thread... but I'm outie.

So, what happened? This was yesterday when you said this.

Sorry, apparently some people missed the part that said that I wasn't sure how much stock to put behind what I was told...I received a few "death" threats...

Anyway, I only gave you guys the info I received...hence why I put so much emphasis on not looking into it too much.

My best guess...the plan I outlined is probably going to be put into place...what I can assume by "ghost plant" is that Apple and its manufacturers are going to open up a 2nd location nearby to move the packing portion of the assembly line into. This will increase the amount of watches that can come off the line, moved onto temp storage and then wheeled over to the 2nd area where people can be packaging them 24/7. Quality control won't take a hit, because they're not being made separately...just more.

But that's just my best guess.

As for the planes, maybe the person was being "hopefully optimistic" that it was SGS, and it was really just extra-full shipments in general (I point to the number of extra bands that have been shipped today as my best).

Sorry to get people's hopes up.

Taken with a grain of salt.

Alright let's get this overnight party started! Who's going to be the first one to get charged tonight? (For delivery Monday of course)

Yes! C'mon, Apple, let's get this wave started tonight. Let's get those watches on their way to these xx:07 and xx:08 people.

C'mon, Apple, let's go! :D

I think the slowdown is because mother's day is in just a couple of days.
So, i would expect it to be slow until Monday and then ramp up from there.

Planes To Louisville

All,

I live in Louisville and have several contacts who works as load/unload masters at their hub in Louisville. I have been posting pics and info of the planes as they land and are unloaded. Apparently apple products have a specific code so they can tell how much apple prod is on a plane.

Follow me on Twitter @joshua_pavey I'll be waiting to here from my contacts and posting the pics and apple info they give me.
