Yup...seems likely it was related, but people could see there wouldn't be orders because there was no plane...and sure enough there was no order.

My bad, I thought someone said there were only 3 tonight.
What part do you disagree with?
Everyday somebody asks if there are any flights. Weekdays in particular. And there is. UPS77 is a regular Route from Shezhen (Where this forum has largely come to believe watches originate from) to Anchorage and then after redistributing some of it's load it carries on to Ontario, CA. It flies every weekday. http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS77/history/20150507/1110Z/ZGSZ/PANC
Everyday there are 4-5 or even more flights from Anchorage to Louisville. Depends on how much freight they have I'm sure.
Finally on any given flight on any given route and on any given day we have no way of knowing if there are or are not any watches.
So what does the return address and first scan of the package say on the shipments now . My wife's watch that came on launch day (24th) came from Mount Juliet Tennessee .
I was surprised how much she enjoys it and hopefully mine will come soon !
We are a very small subset trying to best guess how things are working, and i think it makes logical sense.
I'm not sure how small of a subset we are of the overall watch orders. I've read multiple analysts reports that we happened to order the most popular model, some saying that the 38mm and 42mm space gray sport account for 40-50% of the total orders. So it's likely we comprise at least a MILLION watch orders.
I agree with the assessment SG BSB is the most popular specific version ordered...but think 40-50% of ALL watch orders seems unlikely. I'd guess it is closer to about 25% of all watches, which is still very high considering there are 20 some odd versions.I'm not sure how small of a subset we are of the overall watch orders. In Ontario, Canada my Blue Watch said is shipped from "Syncreon in Vaughan, ON". almost certain it did not ever even see that Address. I would not trust the address it shows.
Edit to add : same address as the iPhone 6+ labels had but they say "Return To Address" so that must be the company who handles Apple retunrs here.
You misread what i wrote...the people on this thread are a small subset of the MILLIONS of apple watch orders. Yes we ordered the most popular type, that goes without saying. However, just because WE did not see charges flurry in doesnt mean that the MILLIONS of others havent the past day and a half.

Nope. First scan just says Canada but Apple shipments fly from Louisville to Mt. Hope (Hamilton, ON). From there it moved onto Concord which is UPS main sorting terminal near Toronto. So it was never scanned at that delivery point first ?
This thread really has a different tone today.

Isn't that the truth. Not much happening. 5 UPS flight from Anchorage to Louisville later tonight. They start arriving approx 12:50 AM EDT.
If I am getting a Watch on the 13th it almost has to be on one of those planes to get to Canada in time.
hmm...very surprised that Steel with BSB is not the most popular steel version. Interesting.Out of a polling of 17k (not an insignificant group) - even Cult of Mac shows 40% space gray sport. So yes, even 25% would be huge - but I'd be surprised if it was less than 40%.

fanboy types like MEEEEE), so that should be taken into account as well. It is super interesting!hmm...very surprised that Steel with BSB is not the most popular steel version. Interesting.
Apple reps are constantly screwing up minutes and seconds, so it seems likely that that is what happened here. This would be the first such case I've seen of Apple having something in the system after the e-mail was sent.

I just completely misread the chart. Didn't realize it was only talking about cases, and not bands. That's because is the cheapest SS version. And especially for those planing on changing the band later on. Is the best option if you want SS
