Cheers, FIJI-02! As an xx:08:11-er, I'm certain I'll be back tomorrow night, too, with a pint of lager in hand. See you then!
Second straight night with absolutely no movement. What is going on? We've been stuck in the early 7s for a while now.....
Dang, this is disappointing. Two days ago about this time some had hit 7:13. One day ago it only moved to about 7:27. And now it looks like only 7:29???!!!
With no (or few) Saturday deliveries, it's a real let-down. I would love to know why. Or is it that we just don't have many people in the 7:30 to 8:00 range reporting in, but they are getting them?
These flights probably had watches for the 4/24-5/8 people. I guess they were trying to finish them off in the last couple of days. Dunno.
42 White Sport - stuck on 4/15
42 SG - stuck on 4/10
There may be some real possibility to this. However, I doubt there was anyone in the US with the first wave ship date that hadn't received their watch before now...AND...even if they were charged overnight, it wouldn't have made it in time to be delivered today, unless Apple upgraded to same-day shipping...
But with how far ahead they were with the majority of the orders, I'd have to say that Apple wasn't finishing off anything.
I'm starting to believe this rumor that Apple may be stocking up the 6 store locations...or these last two days were to fulfill the initial orders by people at the stores.
I know it sucks, and it honestly doesn't make any sense...but Apple can only make and ship so many watches a day.
What's most interesting to me is that for the past few weeks, Apple had pretty much been trying to give away the 42mm AWS with Blue Band...and now, it shows a July date along with the rest of the 42mm AWS...I don't think that, all-of-the-sudden, rabid blue band fans came rushing out of their caves to buy one...and there aren't that many on eBay...
I'm honestly starting to think that Apple is trying to create some false sense of supply. I know I'll get knocked for this, but let's think about it...Apple has been making products for YEARS. They know supply-chain logistics better than anyone else. New product or not, they've had a month to ramp up production on their more popular watch combinations. First we were told there were issues with the taptic engine in some of the 42mm from one manufacturer, then peeling black bands...
I dunno mates...I think there is something more here. I feel like Apple may seriously be underwater with the number of SGS orders they have...and so their idea is to exaggerate time to delivery for them...but at the same time, they can't just overnight the other AWS versions...or there would be riots...so they stretch those out a few weeks as well...using the orders at the store locations to make supply look thinner...that way, they still sell watches, but kinda force people into ordering the version they don't really want, all to increase the possibility that those people will purchase the Watch 2, to get the color/variation they want...
It's all becoming much clearer. Reptilians. All of them. It's happening. Canada is about to invade the US. Prepare yourselves...

First time preordering also. If much rather wait long hours in line
According to the new retail VP, this is the "new" way of doing things. She doesn't want line-ups at the stores.
