This seemed to happen about half way through the 6s as well. Can never be certain, but I'd be surprised if we didn't see decent movement today.

These flights probably had watches for the 4/24-5/8 people. I guess they were trying to finish them off in the last couple of days. Dunno.

42 White Sport - stuck on 4/15
42 SG - stuck on 4/10

Xx:08:24 I was hoping for Monday. But now I'll be lucky if I get it next Friday. Wow this really sucks

Dang, this is disappointing. Two days ago about this time some had hit 7:13. One day ago it only moved to about 7:27. And now it looks like only 7:29???!!!

With no (or few) Saturday deliveries, it's a real let-down. I would love to know why. Or is it that we just don't have many people in the 7:30 to 8:00 range reporting in, but they are getting them?

There may be some real possibility to this. However, I doubt there was anyone in the US with the first wave ship date that hadn't received their watch before now...AND...even if they were charged overnight, it wouldn't have made it in time to be delivered today, unless Apple upgraded to same-day shipping...

But with how far ahead they were with the majority of the orders, I'd have to say that Apple wasn't finishing off anything.

I'm starting to believe this rumor that Apple may be stocking up the 6 store locations...or these last two days were to fulfill the initial orders by people at the stores.

I know it sucks, and it honestly doesn't make any sense...but Apple can only make and ship so many watches a day.

What's most interesting to me is that for the past few weeks, Apple had pretty much been trying to give away the 42mm AWS with Blue Band...and now, it shows a July date along with the rest of the 42mm AWS...I don't think that, all-of-the-sudden, rabid blue band fans came rushing out of their caves to buy one...and there aren't that many on eBay...

I'm honestly starting to think that Apple is trying to create some false sense of supply. I know I'll get knocked for this, but let's think about it...Apple has been making products for YEARS. They know supply-chain logistics better than anyone else. New product or not, they've had a month to ramp up production on their more popular watch combinations. First we were told there were issues with the taptic engine in some of the 42mm from one manufacturer, then peeling black bands...

I dunno mates...I think there is something more here. I feel like Apple may seriously be underwater with the number of SGS orders they have...and so their idea is to exaggerate time to delivery for them...but at the same time, they can't just overnight the other AWS versions...or there would be riots...so they stretch those out a few weeks as well...using the orders at the store locations to make supply look thinner...that way, they still sell watches, but kinda force people into ordering the version they don't really want, all to increase the possibility that those people will purchase the Watch 2, to get the color/variation they want...

It's all becoming much clearer. Reptilians. All of them. It's happening. Canada is about to invade the US. Prepare yourselves...

I see your point. I would NOT be surprised if Apple is purposely doing this. It's pretty smart if you think about it, all the impatient people are going to order the 38mm SS for $649 because it ships within a day.

But, I'm not sure...just speculating like the rest of us. Hopefully we see charges soon. I can't wait to see what Jeff says later on this month when he speaks.

I have not seen any action on SG in any of the other threads either besides a few members in Europe.

According to the new retail VP, this is the "new" way of doing things. She doesn't want line-ups at the stores.

I'd rather wait in lines. It's fun, you meet a lot of interesting people. For my 6plus, I was number two in line and met some great people and we ended up chipping in and got a grill and had one hell of a dinner and drinks in the parking lot

I'd do it every year, even for the watch.

Good news for me!

CC Charged last night 1:11AM

42mm SG BSB
Ordered: 4/10 xx:07:31
Status: Preparing for shipment
Available to ship: May 13-27

Just to feel normal

I had to order something on Amazon just to feel normal again... it is on the truck for delivery by the end of the day. It's not the same though...

Nothing here of course.

Headed out of town on the 17th for a week and I wonder at what point I should change my shipping address to my hotel....

My guess is that they didn't want to invest in the manufacturing resources to deal with this one time huge mass of orders. This is definitely the most orders the watch will see in such a short time until the next generation. So instead of having huge factories, equipment, and employees sit and do nothing until next year they just choose to have us wait an extra 2 months.

It's all really frustrating because we know they have the money and power to overcome nearly any issue but they still choose to spend really conservatively.

I know that my delivery window when I clicked "confirm order" was 4-6 weeks, so technically I have no reason to complain, but then they announce that ramp up is going well and "many customers may receive their order before the delivery window." And many of you have. But not me. So... It's a little frustrating.

It's sort of like knowing that Christmas is December 25th and that you have to wait, but then you see a bunch of others opening presents two weeks early.

Being patient sucks.

Just a guess but there are 3 Sport watches that use the silver case and only 1 that is black. Therefore they probably made 3x more silver watches than black hence the short supply and slow shipping movement of black. But you'd think that black Sport is going to be the most popular model so they'd be prepared.

These long lead out times seem to indicate a very close to release problem with manufacturing or QA. Something unforeseen.

it boggles my mind that we are already a solid week into May and they are still on the first <10 minutes of pre-orders.

...I cant even begin to imagine the wait for people who ordered when they woke up in the morning on 4/10 instead of midnight.
