If you buy everything from Apple you should've known the App Store iOS app always comes back online first
My issue with this situation is that I like many others here was up at 3am to order my watch but how was I to know that you could order on the app before the website? While I was sitting there doing nothing others that now have their watches were ordering. This is the part that upsets me.
I ended up with a 17:05 order (from Apple) although I believe that my order was placed at least 5 minutes earlier.
Real or electronic lineups what needs to happen is for it to be fair. People need to get the watches in order which is happening but the way this went off was messed up.
There must be issues that we are not being told about. This launch does not seem very Apple like to me.
Where are these watches?
At least I have this forum to entertain me till my watch arrives.

Well, that too! I made the same mistake...I had my iPad and MacBook and kept refreshing the website, until my buddy told to me to use the app. By then, dates had shifted. UGH! Hell, I said I would NEVER stand in line again for an Apple product, but I'd made an exception this time. I was planning on taking off that Friday if it were available in stores...sigh.
Here's some food for thought for those of you religiously tracking flights to Louisville. Apparently my watch is coming from Ontario? While I don't really want to or try to understand the method to the UPS madness...I find it hard to believe that my watch went from Alaska to Louisville, to Canada, and back to Louisville.

As proven by the fact that they assumed we would all enjoy the free U2 album. They are still an amazing company in my opinion and I wont see my watch until "June" despite a preorder.
Because I can go an Amazon today and buy a third party watch band for like $10-$15

I'm a line up kinda guy. I love camping out at apple. Would rather wait 12+ hours then days, weeks, even months. Now with the new changes who knows how long things will take.
