Dead Friday at work. No bosses around and there is a photo shoot going on which is drawing coworkers' attention. I'm constantly refreshing this damn forum hoping for the wave to commence.

Ugh. I may just leave an go home. At least then I can drink… ;)

I have a pending charge for my AppleCare+ as of 30 minutes ago, not sure if that means anything

I did have this happen when I first ordered the Watch but it then dropped off

Unfortunately it means nothing. I had the same pop up on a SS watch I ordered on May 3 that won't ship until July. The pending charge is still sitting there after several days.

Available to ship: 5-6 weeks
Delivers: 22 Jun, 2015 - 29 Jun, 2015

Apple Watch Sport 42mm Space Gray Aluminum Case with Black Sport Band

Order on : April 26, 2015 10:06 AM
:)

Same here but ordered April 21. Just happy to finally have a range. Will likely be late for Father's Day but just barely.

We can never know about the days to come
But we think about them anyway
And I wonder if I'm really with you now
Or just chasing after some finer day.
Anticipation, Anticipation
Is making me late
Is keeping me waiting

Was so hoping for some movement today on my order...

05/14/2015 Pending APL*APPLE ONLINE STORE $52.11

I think this for the applecare.

Good to see that folks who ordered days, and even weeks after 4/10, are anticipated to have their watches by July 1. As opposed to the fact that it's taken 3 weeks to get through the first 12-13 minutes of pre-order.

Preparing for shipment

Hey folks, my order just changed to preparing for shipment:

order email confirmation: 12:10

I wonder, how do orders get fulfilled? Do you think there are 9a-5p people that once 5pm hits they are done? Or are there centers with different hour shifts?

Are there proverbial stacks of our orders on someone's desk waiting to be stamped and processed?

Dammit I'm losing it...

AppleCare is a service and is not taxed in the US. Not sure about international though!

Did you order . . . a sport band or something like that too?

No I did not order a band. This charge for same amount appeared on my CC soon after I ordered on 4/26 but then dropped off. Yesterday night my available to ship June changed to a June 22nd date range.

Anyone else have nightmares about inadvertently hitting the "Cancel Items" button on the Orders page?

This must be a big wave coming if there holding out this long to ship anything. I saw a post earlier saying maybe threw XX:20, witch I do not be leave but would love to see.

It's been quieter for longer than I expected, though I was one to predict early on that we'd see orders fulfilled in "batches" with quiet times in between. It's what I recalled when Apple was working through the iPhone 6 Plus backorders. I'm sure there are various reasons for this, which could include:

  1. Workflows at the points of production.
  2. Availability of parts to build the watch. The production line must pause if a part has run out.
  3. Lingering supply constraints on the taptic engine, and rationing of the good ones in batches to the different model types in order to keep some order flow to all customers.
  4. Scheduling of UPS planes and trucks, and stockpiling at the source until a plane can be filled.
My order time is xx:12 and I'm figuring I'll be in the next batch to ship out this weekend, but who really knows when the next wave will come.

Unfortunately it means nothing. I had the same pop up on a SS watch I ordered on May 3 that won't ship until July. The pending charge is still sitting there after several days.

It is conspicuous though that many people in close proximity to being charged/shipped suddenly have this appear.

I know that so far we have only seen the :apple:Watch be delivered by UPS, but the other day I called apple to see what my exact time was and I did not want to just ask that question. In asking other random questions I was told by the representative that if mine was delivered by FedEx that it may come on Saturday. All of the other apple purchase that I have made online and had delivered have come by FedEx and not UPS. I am south of Houston Near Galveston. Maybe it is a Regional thing. Also I am xx:14:53 and am still Processing.

How come none of the guys who are complaining about waiting for their watch and suggesting that Apple should have launched in July don't just cancel their order and wait for stock to show up in stores? Life's too short to get this worked up over something you don't need even if you want it.

Easy to say it when you are waiting but hundreds of thousands of happy people already have their watches and I can tell you being on the other side I am glad I have it and don't have to wait until July.

Give yourself a few days off of checking every 10 minutes (and I do know how hard that is) and relax. You will get an email when your watch ahips and then you can get excited again.
