Every now and again someone thinks it's a good idea to come into this forum and remind everyone that they should consider themselves lucky if they get their watch by the 27th, and that we have no right to complain.

I do not share that opinion. I stayed up until 3AM on April 10 2015 hitting refresh to order a watch for delivery on April 24th. When the expected delivery window indicating shipping May 13-27th appeared I was horrified. It didn't make me want the watch any less.

I still think the delay in getting this product is F$&?$&$? B$?!&?&!

I am with you there

So I'll be traveling next week starting Tuesday and have a XX:13:57 order time. Really starting to consider changing my shipping address to where I'll be traveling to since I'm now doubting me getting my watch for Monday.

The question is: How difficult or possible is it to change shipping address if it reaches "Preparing for Shipment" stage? Should I just do it now and loose any chance of receiving it this Monday? Or should I wait to see if I get charged tonight or tomorrow and get an actual estimated delivery date?

This has been my main concern with this pre-order...the estimated delivery date ranges are insanely wide. It's hard to plan around work and travel when you get basically one days notice of it's arrival.

Figured I would look at FlightAware and I see one plane about to lan in Anchorage from Incheon. Then there are 4 flights from Anchorage to Louisville after that that will arrive in Louisville in the AM east coast time. Hope we see something from these flights. But after the last two days of movement, my hopes are somewhat deflated.

XX:13:53

Just trying to find some avenue of hope for some movement here

I dont want to discourage but incheon is in korea and today no flight came from china so nothing will come in those four flights to louisville so not tonight may be tomorrow night!!!

Just got an email and the preview of the title showed "Apple: Your Apple Watch Sport 42mm Space Gray Aluminum Case with Black Sport Band"

I started flailing around frantically trying to bring up the email on my computer and........

It was the EOD for another one that I ordered about a week ago for a customer. UUUGGGHHH!!

Sure enough xx:14:47, "Still processing..."

Hi,

I just got a charge from Apple for I think my Black Leather Loop band. I still show it processing with 5/26 - 6/01 delivery window. Will see if I get an updated status tonight.

Same here. I knew in my gut it would ship before the Watch lol.

A labor shortage resulting form a holiday doesn't seem right. Do we really think that Apple and its supplier didn't take a well known holiday into account when setting up Apple Watch production schedule? Any worker shortage because of holiday(s) should have planned for well ahead of time.

If this was in fact the case, then there was some very poor planning on the part of Apple and their manufacturer(s).

Also, as part of the taptic engine defect report, Apple was said to have asked its suppliers to hold back some materials until June. This means that full ramp is likely not gonna happen until June if the report was accurate.

All hypothetical of course...

I'm getting mine Monday too. Super excited.

Also a black leather band is preparing for shipment today as well. I'll be all setup next week.

Got mine today. One day delivery. That was pretty nice. Looks like the 13-27 , closer to the 13. Now figure this thing out. Liking it so far

Ordered a xx:07:47, got mine on May 12. Looked into activity, and it looks like the watch was initially activated, boxed and shipped to holding on April 28-29, then just sat there until Monday, May 12 when it was fedexed overnight to me. Keep in mind, I didn't open it until Tuesday, so that activity logged on Monday is the watch sealed in the box in shipment, proving it didn't move Sunday or any day before that.

Any theories on how this could not just be artificial inventory constraint? Looks pretty iron-clad to me.
You are making some pretty big leaps in assumptions as to what that activity means... Why would it turn on and activate during the shipping process? I have no idea what those dates mean, but don't think you do either.

Here is my History:
4/27: Activity bars shown, but zero activity
4/28: Activity bars shown, zero activity

5/6: Activity bars shown, zero activity
5/7: Watch received

Here is my Theory:
4/27: Tested in Production
4/28: Tested in Production

5/6: Turned on during import customs inspection.
5/7: Delivered

so I've gotten my Apple watch 1 day now . I truly love it to the fullest worth the wait but whats even better about is the battery life! One it is amazing. since this morning it was fully charged at 100 % and I still have 60% left on it. it's only 8pm at my location and also battery life on my iPhone 6 plus has also improved. having the Apple watch makes your phone battery last even longer I'm at 70% on battery life for my phone , love the watch ! can't wait till everyone gets there watch. this thread has also helped me go through the long wait so for you guys that are waiting soon you will realize how important this apple watch will be to you when you get it but until then you will go through the the long wait as I did but it will come dw. It's really worth the wait ! Thank you for your help and all your guys info ! I will be keeping in touch and reading more of you guys threads

Yeah a few early ones went out, you basically just missed the wave from a few days ago.

As an aside, someone mentioned the possibility that some of these planes have been coming in, but rather than have just customer delivery, Apple may be stockpiling some in order to prepare for in store launch. That actually sounds more than reasonable. They have a lot of stores and June is only a few weeks away.

That also means that out there, there may be a warehouse of space gray sports just hanging out, minding their own business and belonging to nobody lol :(

I think you might find this interesting.

I was one of the lucky guys to be charged and shipped today, and my order time was XX:12:02. I managed to get the Serial off my upcoming watch and ran it against the chipmunk database.

And these were my findings. As you can see, and what I found the most interesting is the fact that the watch was manufactured in May, which lead me to confirm that indeed the 42mm SGS watch was underproduced and the first batch of watches didn't even cover up to the first 12 minutes of pre-ordering.

I'm not a CSI genius like some of you, but here's the intel so you can make out things. I don't even know when week 19 was, but it has to be in the last 15 days definitely.
