The big UPS jets can carry more than 200,000 Apple Watches each. I guarantee that they were not full of Watches or nobody would be waiting anymore.

Just saying a watch was available on launch day. You and me and a huge number of others all liked SG best. Maybe a lot more than Apple exoected using optimistic estimates. The result? Demand exceeds supply and lead times get long. Try running a manufacturing business. I do and it's happened to is. People get mad understandably but that does not mean we are not working as hard as we can to clear the excess order situation.

Where did you get info that Apple has done this? You don't have any because you made it up or leapt to some conclusion.
The tracking number now has info. It shows billed/labeled 5/18, which is interesting considering today is the 17th.
It would be interesting to know if the watches and bands come out on the same shipments.
Yeah. I'm about over it. I had been getting a little less excited about my purchase, probably due more to the high hopes after the "wave" last Tuesday that I might would be getting it Thursday or Friday, then maybe Monday, now am be Tuesday (though looking unlikely). My order 12 mins into launch taking damn near a month to ship..... Geesh. I'm starting to wonder about the 27th for those that ordered after me. I just don't see all those shipping by then. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I'm leaning towards no since my watch band has also shipped and will arrive Wednesday. I'm a xx:12:18 on the Watch and that still hasn't even been billed yet.
Wow, in about a month we may be able to get up in the middle of the night to pre-order our new Apple TVs!
I would agree since my watch was ordered 4/10 and still processing, while my wife's extra band was ordered 5/1 and is coming tomorrow.
I am definitely buying an new Apple TV. I have two now. I canceled my cable a few months back so I'm really looking forward to Apple's streaming service too. I'm definitely an Apple fan, and though I'm a bit disappointed I don't have my watch yet, I do understand the production issues.

I was charged on Friday. Spent a long time in preparing for shipment phase. I should have it before my original quote date of the 25th. I ordered it on 4/13.

If the 42 SG was among the most popular flavors for preorder then it stands to reason it will remain a top choice when in-store purchases become available.
If it's discovered that this lull is related to Apple setting aside stock for stores, people are going to come unglued.
