:apple: Watchgate 2015. Millions of people are trying to throw their money at Apple to no avail. Not much of a fan of this new "exclusive online ordering" they went to.
 
OMG! Hahah you guys are lucky compared to me, I have a June delivery estimate May 27 - June 11. I think this is the slowest rollout ever!
 
Sometimes I open the apple watch app on my iPhone and imagine what it would be like if I was actually holding a watch and using the pairing feature.

Does that make me crazy?

I'm in the xx:16 time frame with a ship date May 13 - May 27 and think Apple will get watches to customers who preordered and got a ship date before June. They have botched this launch and will take even more slack if they start offering in store before they ship to people who ordered online.

When the iPad mini with Retina display was released I ordered online and had a ship date after the official launch date, I was able to track one down in an Apple Store and reserve for pickup and cancelled my online order. I hope they don't go down this route while people are anxiously waiting for their order. Again, this has been the strangest launch, so at this point I wouldn't be shocked if they hit Apple retail stores in June and those customers will get the device before April 10 preorder people.

When the iPhone 6 came out, I didn't pre-order and stores by me were out of stock. 4 days after launch I went to the mall and the Apple store was sold out of all colors and capacities, except for a few 16gb models. Walked to the other side of the mall to the Verizon store and they had stock of all sizes and colors with no line at all. It was as if no one even thought to check there. I basically had my phone less than a week after launch while others here on the forums were still waiting on their preorders. Kinda sad. If they start selling in store before I get my watch I'll do the same thing and cancel my order and secure an in store model.
