Wow, have seen a number where the reps had told people the order time was much later than the confirmation, but not earlier.
Having followed these threads from inception, Reps have been completely inconsistent/incorrect/untruthful through this whole process.
Ask 10 of them and you can receive 10 different statements on any topic.
Just finished chatting with the Apple reps... Not happy AT ALL.
My confirmation email came in at 12:05 PST
The rep told me my order was not processed until 5:00 PST....

Was in the 4/24-5/8 until I clicked submit, confirmation came and dates had slipped to 5/13-5/27
Its quite interesting to see the random order that the orders are completed in. I don't think they are following the email time stamps at all.

They have been consistently mixing up minutes and hours... Yours is most likely 12:05 not 5:00.
Ewwwww. I'm really afraid to talk to the Apple reps.. but at the same time, really want to know.

Don't stress - My email was 12:05:33. When I chatted with a rep they told me "5:33". I was just charged and moved to prep for ship.

he says hes heard numerous stories about macrumors but since it is not an official apple forum he cant speak on it. He understands that im probably not lying about this and that no one here probably is and hes forwarded the information to execs but they are aware of what people are saying but can't "bump people up"
Except in our case, they're about to get to zone 7 and they announce overhead that there are no seats left and we will have to wait while they build another plane.

But then people in my delivery window started seeing movement.
Part of me wishes they were sticking to the delivery windows so I wouldn't be obsessing.....

Could it be that she was reading me the minutes and seconds? So my time stamp is actually 12:12:01am?
Just got my shipping confirmation a few minutes ago. Scheduled for delivery tomorrow, 4/29.
Just to recap - ordered at 12:05, email confirmation came in at 12:05:28, card was charged last night (8pm PHX time), was preparing for shipment until 11am today.

This is the one thing I have learned from this. No truer words have been spoken.
While very polite, they aren't as informed as they need to be. Not saying it's their fault necessarily. They're just not privy to answers to the questions we have.

I'm frustrated that before I clicked submit it said ships 4/24-5/8 and then the confirmation screen said 5/13-24. I understand they were going fast, but c'mon.
