Sadly that second charge hasn't happened yet for me... And to also say that the first charge is variable. Sometimes it is the full amount, sometimes it is just AppleCare if purchased and sometimes it is only for $1

Not sure if that is totally true. I have had a pending charge on my AMEX since Friday 4/24. 5 days later it is still pending, no movement...
 
Man I really don't understand last week everything seemed to really go in order. Now it is all over the freakin place. WTF Apple this is super frustrating.
 
Don't you guys think it's interesting how we're talking about times so much in this thread about a watch? We're using seconds and everything.
 
damn UPS notification going off on my phone for a package coming to my house that is NOT the watch. :(
 
Dumb Question...

I'm new to the forums, and I notice that everybody is proudly touting their Apple devices underneath as a form of a signature or something on each one of their posts, and I can't figure out how to do that...

Top left click User CP choose edit signature

Think about it. They were building inventory prior to launch. They shipped all that inventory out in the first batch. Now they have to make more, so it will trickle out slower as production continues. The same occurred with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Big wave, then trickle, then another big wave, and so on. Seemed like a week between the bigger waves.

I'm pretty sure he was talking about orders going out by timestamp, not the amount of orders being shipped.

I still think location plays a bigger part in the order these go out. It seems to happen to certain areas/countries at a time

Im not talking about how many they are shippign out. I am talking about the fact that they are all out of order now. And it doesn't seem to be location based I have seen people in the same city as me with a later confirmation number get charged and shipped and I am still waiting. Last week it seemed to be much more in order.

Delivering: tomorrow 4/29 ( orlando, fl ) .... but tracking number and My UPS choice is not showing anything. =(

oh yes. i'm xx:15 - wouldn't be surprised is we get them with the same shipment. most of the shipped pre-orders that have for this model seem to have been placed b/w xx:03-xx:06

What would cause another big wave? Wouldn't the trickles be the ones coming right off the production line? Are they stocking them up and then releasing a ton at once?
