I love it! I'm really noticing the snappiness of the A5. Not one thing this phone does lags

Easily The Best Yet

Apple just keeps cranking out the hits.

Not only that this is the first iPhone I've not had to return during the launch period.

It's something special about keeping the launch day models if you ask me.

Love it! Love it! Love it!

I bought the 4S a few days after release. After about a week with it, I came to the conclusion that I'm fine with my iPhone 4, returned it and will use the upgrade possibly at a later date.

i wish i was smart like you.
i am not happy with it but just keep it any way

i like to see an iphone 4.3"

To be fair.. actually Apple can call this iPhone 5 with a new look... I believe Apple just want to bring the iPhone 5 to another level, so name it 4S

If Apple name it iPhone 5, no one would complain :)

The battery life I am getting is horrid. Its noon right now and I am at 22% with nothing else other than messaging.

Love it. The best iPhone in history but it could've been better (bigger screen, 4G, NFC.. etc. iPhone5) plus the fact that the battery dies quickly. :(

okay, I can turn off some features to save the battery but whats the point of having an iPhone?!

Love the 4S but can't say its the best ever as this is my first iPhone but it sure does fit perfectly into my little Apple eco-system.

We have used 4S for a while, I would like to see how people like it. Personally I will give 4S 7 out of 10. To be honest, its just like 3G to 3GS.

Siri... just fine.. it was interesting at the beginning, but I quit using Siri after 2 weeks...

the other features are pretty much the same as 4.

let me know what you think

Im always fascinated when people say they stopped using Siri. I find I use it more and more. When Siri gets the capability to read my email messages I'll be in heaven.

The problem with the 4S is the battery..

Looks without battery boost 10/10

Looks with booster/charging cable -2/10

Productivity without battery boost -2/10

Productivity with battery boost 10/10

Pick your poison..

Im not here to start fights, I'm just stating my opinion!

I use Siri and/or Dictation more than 20 times per day, so for me that's MORE than reason enough for the upgrade.

Would I have paid $199 to upgrade if Siri or Dictation were not present? Absolutely, because what I enjoy most was switching from AT&T to Verizon and finally having quality network coverage and signal strength. Can't tell you how much of that signal improvement is the carrier or the new antenna design. Probably a little bit antenna and a lotta bit network.

My total experience from 4 to 4S would in my opinion have been worth $450 to upgrade.

(note: I never had or have "the battery issue")

Having come from an iPhone on AT&T do you miss being able to do data/voice simultaneously? I'll likely switch to Verizon when their iPhone can do that...

I imagine for most people, the difference between 4 and 4S is virtually non-noticeable. However, I'm pretty sure that as the OS goes through a few updates and such, the iPhone 4 will start to lag a lot more than the 4S. Much like how the 3GS was way more responsive than the 3G back in the day.

For me though, the differences are noticeable. I do care about the improved camera, and like it a lot over my 4's camera (which wasn't so bad either, but not great). The boost data-wise to HSPA+ is noticeable when I tether. Those things alone are worth the upgrade for me.

That was my absolute biggest worry when I switched. Hasn't been an issue at all. That situation ended up not being common, as I had thought. The very few times I've wanted to talk and surf, I have been in WiFi and was able to do so.

Verizon is so good compared to AT&T that now I can use Tango without dropping the connection. Which means no minutes against my plan, Video if i feel like it, and I can use any data app concurrently with Tango at any time, no WiFi needed. It's been an awesome change and I've demontrated to some friends, who are now switching.

Came from a 4 and switched to 4S because a family member's contract was up and he let me use it :) IMHO, I only use Siri for timers and weather at the moment. I'm really lovin' the improved camera and A5 though. If there wasn't an upgrade though, I would've stuck with the 4.

I also really like the small stuff Apple fixed, such as the green spot in white backgrounds when you take a picture, and the much louder speaker volume.

Now that 5.0.1 fixed my battery issue, I'm loving it! Came from a 4 to the 4S (64GB version). All around a much faster, smoother experience (and that's hard to do coming from the 4)!

Comming from iPhone 4, it's good at best. Camera A+, A5 chip A+, antenna issue A+ that's about it. I don't care what's its called, but as many waited for redesigned body, not bigger just different.
I upgrated due 3 year contract was up, but as soon as 5 is released, this one going for sale and I'll be getting 5 unlocked.
I just don't like the feel/ organomicks oswnce lunch of iPhone 4.

I had the original moto droid for close to 2 years. Then in September, I upgraded to the Droid Bionic shortly after it's release. Although I liked the screen size, the battery life was terrible. The extended battery helped but it looked terrible and I didn't like the extra weight.

I ordered a white 4S since I needed to add an additional 'dumb-phone' line to my plan. Bought the LG 'dumb' phone on ebay and figured I'd 'test-drive' the iphone and keep either it or the Bionic....

...I'm keeping the iphone. No disrespect, but people that have complained about battery life haven't had a Bionic. The size is much better and it looks great. Got replacements for any android apps I needed and so far I'm lovin my new phone.

Amazing

I went from an iPhone 4 to a HTC sensation to the iPhone 4S. The iPhone 4S reminds me of why I love apple products so much. It just works, no lag, no random reboots, no countless hours of tweaking. Love it. Here are some things that I noticed about the iPhone 4S that are improved over the iPhone 4.

- The vibration is more noticeable in the pocket.
- The speaker is louder.
- Everything feels faster.
- Less dropping of calls and 3G signal.
- More detailed photos with less noise, less distortion and more accurate color reproduction.
- Full HD video recording with amazing motion stabilisation.
- Siri <--- Seriously love this feature, feels so gimmicky till you actually start using it.
- Bigger capacity, I purchased the 64GB version.
- It comes in white from day one. =] This is my first white iPhone, had the black 3G, 3GS and 4. Quite amazing how a change of color makes a difference. I am superficial.

Things that I love about the iPhone 4S that were on the 4.

- Design and build.
- Battery life.
- OS.
- ECO system.
- Abundant accessories availability.
- Works well with my MacBook Air and iPad.

I really enjoy using the iPhone 4S. Each individual enhancement might seem small but cumulatively it results in the best user experience yet.
