Good point, it appears I skipped over that extremely important bit of information, haha.. I guess I was just a little too happy to see my CU listed. Still, it's a pretty comprehensive list, and it is encouraging to know they're working hard to get it going within the next few weeks for so many institutions. Here's hoping they don't slack off.

500 new Apple Pay banks - What banks are they?

Just wanted to say "Thanks!" for taking the time to type in those bank names.
Not many people put in that much effort.
You won't be able to add your card if your bank (the bank that issued the card) doesn't do Apple Pay.

TD bank is NOT on board with Apple Pay per the wall street journal.
Yay... Looks like my credit union is one of those working on it in coming weeks!
The Wisconsin based UW Credit Union said on their Facebook page they will be supporting Apple Pay. Quote: "details on timing in the coming weeks".
But isn't that thread just for cards that are known to work, not banks that will work?
As far as Canada users, I've seen some YouTube videos of people with US cards working in Canadian stores. Just thought I'd mention that. As far as Canadian cards go then no.
Banks that don't work broken down by card. If the bank don't work, the card won't work.
