Just because someone uploaded it to YouTube and named it BBC, doesn’t make it a BBC doc. This is not a BBC doc any more than it is a science channel doc.
We'll make this easy for you, however if you are part of the 50% of Moon Landing Deniers that are also Flat Earthers, just disregard, because you have already walked into Dante's Inferno and I can't help you. (The sign said "Abandon Hope All Ye Who Enter Here", you should have been paying attention.
1) The 13 Saturn V launches, 9 of which went to moon were seen live my millions of people, a launch of rocket at 39A can be seen for over 100 miles, my parents house is over 100 miles away as the crow flies and to this day we can see launches from the cape.
2) Nine rockets went to the moon (8,10-17), dozens of countries including the Soviets tracked the nine rockets to the moon and back, on six of the occasions, they tracked seperation of the CM and LM. How exactly was that faked?
3) The Apollo 11 moonwalk is basically 150 minutes (2.5 hours) long, its a single stream of video with no cuts, in 1969, the only way to do a single piece of video with no cuts was LIVE, so you actually are arguing that the moon landing was faked as a completely live performance, because there is no other way to do it. Its also the shortest of the moonwalks, the five successful landings that followed it gave us 13 more moonwalks and with the addition of the Rover for the final missions, walks of over 7 hours occurred near the end of the Apollo project. The final mission had 3 walks all of over 7 hours in length.
4) If they were faking it why did it take till Apollo 11 to land on the moon, why fake 8 and 10 or really why fake 4,6,8,9 & 10, the 5 Saturn V launches before it. Why build 15 Saturn V's if you are faking it. Why go back to the moon 6 times after you "successfully" fake it on Apollo 11. If you do a magic trick and fool everyone, the first rule of magic is don't do the trick again in front of the same audience. The second rule of magic, don't do the trick 6 more times after fooling everyone, including failing at doing the trick one of the times. (ie Apollo 13). Also speaking about Apollo 13, can you explain why they faked that? I mean the Saturn V launch is only 3 days before, so either the mythical superlong tape of the mission is done or not before the launch, if its not, you dont launch and then make up a failure while they are in space.
5) The US has 842 lbs of Moon Rocks and dust, the 3 Soviet robots brought back just 1/2 a lb of moon dust, if we didnt go to the moon, how did we get the moon rocks?
6) Russian (and their Soviet counterparts before them), the ESA, Japan, China and India all have seen signs of one or more of the Apollo landings during the 40+ visitors from Earth the Moon has had since Apollo 17. How is this possible if we didn't go?
7) LROC has taken pictures of every Apollo landing site as well as every landing site for all the other hardware on the moon, both from the US and from the other countries who have been there, it is so accurate we figured out how to use the Lunkalod relector, which hasnt worked since it landed because the Soviets were telling everyone it was in the wrong place because thats where they thought it was. How does that occur if LROC isnt really taking pictures of the moon.

Did you watch it? No. So what is the value of your commentary on something that you refuse to even watch, what to speak of watch with an open mind to the hypothesis that it may actually be presenting something to you that is actual, factual. Please do this, it will be good for you.

Yes, I put 'likely' as I had at the moment of writing just found it. Now I have watched it and can tell you it is the same one that I watched on English BBC TV back in the 90s, in England where I was born. It was on BBC's BBC1 channel, honestly. I am not making it up. Please, just watch it and try to understand what is being said, it is all factual.

Did I refuse to watch it? We're talking about the Titanic, how the failure of the Apollo program would be an embarrassment for the US. $9bn price tag, buying 2 million homes, window filled with the TV camera, arm in the way, stop button that pops back etc. You're right about one thing - it is good to watch, and it's good for you. Because you realise no matter how stupid you may feel, there are morons out there who buy into this utter drivel, and then you feel better about yourself.

To call the Moon landings a hoax is an insult to the bravery, remarkable skill and sacrifice of the original astronauts and the thousands of engineers and others who made it possible.

I remember the Moon landing; I was a child, fascinated by all of this, and awestruck at what had happened.

My only question after the first twenty minutes, is how gullible are you? Really and truly, this is a terrible video, I think my dog jumping on my keyboard and putting random clips together with Final Cut Pro, could do a better video at least 80% of the time. Its Nixon tricking us, even though, we went to the moon (Apollo 8), before Nixon was president. The Van Allen belts, despite Dr James Van Allen (who discovered them and who they are named after), saying it would take 1 WEEK of staying in the WORST PART OF THE BELTS to receive a fatal dose of radiation, the 90 minutes they flew through them would have been fatal according to this documentary. Who should we all believe, noted physicist and the man who discovered the belts, or the crazy lady saying Tower of Babel, Titanic and Apollo are all related? The comments about the Soviets are all wrong, the Soviets are actually the first to put living creatures around the moon with Zond 5, many of the creatures on the craft died but both Tortoises survived though they lost about 10% of their body weight. It was a fear that the Soviets would put a single cosmonaut in the Zond style capsule, that led to the US moving up the orbiting moon launch to Apollo 8. The light source comments as everyone will tell you are completely wrong. The slomo comments are hilarious because 1969 the longest a slomo could be done was 30 seconds, yet somehow the 2.5 hour Apollo 11 video is all in "slomo". Its not really slomo that is pretty apparent, if you speed it up, but hoax believers gotta make stuff up. The explanation of how the video of the earth is made because of secret translations of what the astronauts said. This is a very old video, which of course doesn't explain how LROC, ESA, China, India, Japan and Russia have all seen the Apollo sites. Its complaining we have to wait until 2017 for the Kennedy tapes to be available, and talking about the 25 anniversary of the moon landing. It wasnt a good video when it came out, its science is even worse now. Forgetting all the animators (myself included) who have shown the pictures to be accurate, if you really were interested in knowing what really happened, you would have looked at what Nvidia did, that should (it won't, but it should) get rid of every single complaint about the pictures once and for all. Again your documentary doesnt explain any of my questions, it actually ignores Apollo 8 and 10 I believe, hashes all the classic long debunked theories (Shadows, Van Allen Belts) and doesnt explain how the Soviets tracked us to the moon and back, 9 times if we never did it?
As for the rocks, if you have rocks and dust from the moon, its quite valuable, as we saw with the sale of the three small russian rocks for $855,000 on Thursday at Sotheby's, how much are you trying to sell yours for, I might be in the market. Of course me and 1000s of others actually know the difference between rocks formed on Earth and those formed on Mars and the Moon, but if you actually have an actual moon rock for sale, let me know.

It's romanticized now, but man was Apollo controversial back in the 60's. It was in the red perception wise until the late 70's-early 80's. It barely passed Congress, it was all about politics and beating the USSR and not about the achievement itself( note how quickly support dropped after Apollo 11).

Heck JFK was in the process of proposing to cancel Apollo in favor of a joint US-USSR effort instead.
But I love every bit of the Apollo program. The Saturn V is still unmatched today and even the SLS won't match it. SpaceX's Super Heavy is the only thing that will eclipse it. A group of people have acquired and repaired an actual Apollo Guidance Computer and got it operating.
I want to go back to the moon. I want to go further. Not for any of the political BS that will naturally surround any effort, but for the science itself.

I swear on my life I saw it in British television around 1999/2000. I can't rememeber which channel it was on now, BBC1, BBC2, ITV or Channel 4 as it was back then only those four but I don't think it was independant TV as there were no commercials. But without a shadow of a doubt I watched this same program on television exactly as it is shown in the Youtube video but with opening and closing credits of course, which they have clipped off for some reason.

So you flicked through it, but you missed the point about the space race and how USA were far behind the USSR achievements then suddenly went from 0-1000 in a second and out of nowhere went to the moon! Bob Sponge lapped it up, as did millions of American lemmings. All glories to the stars and stripes, they sing.
The episode was scientifically interesting. For example, it makes sense that the American flag "waved" more on the moon than it would on earth, despite the lack of air movement, because there was also no air resistance as the flag was being planted, leaving it to oscillate when moved, then turn perfectly still after the oscillations died down.
So now not only are you smarter then everyone on here, but you are smarter then all of Nvidia, of course they (like I did when I did that years ago) actually showed their work, you just think someone in a white reflective suit can't be a light source which is interesting to anyone who ever paid attention while taking a pictures near a reflective surface who have actually seen the effect. Literally Nvidia measured the reflection of an actual Apollo suit, you with all the built in awesome knowledge just decides its not possible. Literally you are just saying I'm VKD, believe me rather than knowledge, physics or math, sorry but I just don't see the credentials there to believe you over literally 1000s who are smarter and better educated.
We were months behind literally, the Russians launched Sputnik, we put Explorer 1 up less than 4 months later and it discovered the Van Allen Belts. They launch Yuri as the first person in space on April 12, 1961 less than a month (May 5, 1961) later Alan Shepard becomes the first american in space. On March 18, 1965 the Russians did the first space walk, literally this is the last important manned record for the Russians until after Apollo. Less than 3 months later the Americans would carry out their first space walk on June 3, 1965. Now Gemini 5-12 set bunch of firsts for manned space flight and all the while we are building the Saturn V which we eventually build 15 of, plus the test articles. The Saturn V worked (the Russian N1 did not), in fact the first manned launch of the Saturn V, was Apollo 8, and that one orbited the moon. We would launch two more Saturn V's to test out the LM, first in Earth orbit and then in Lunar orbit, then we were ready for Apollo 11, we landed the LM and the first two of an eventual twelve astronauts walked on the moon. That is what happened in the real world, you still haven't explained how we tricked the Russians that we went to the moon 9 times (and everyone else), how the other space powers have seen Apollo spacecraft on the moon, etc. If you want to argue, come up with one explanation for the evidence which for 50 years has shown your side to be wrong.

You overlook the possibility that they are just making it up. Its like a clinical trial to prove that eggs are healthy, sponsored by the Egg Industry. Or one to prove that meat is healthy sponsored by the meat industry. Whoever pays them, of course they will give them the answer they wanted, usually fudged to an incredibly large degree. Monsanto say that their glyphosate-based Roundup weedkiller is safe and they have test results to prove it. Meanwhile, there are at least four court cases where they lost and had to pay out millions for ruining the health of operatives who used their product.
I don't feel that just because somebody spoke that I have to believe them. I have my own mind and intelligence and I can use these faculties to accept or reject whatever anyone says, no matter how great, powerful, famous or wealthy they may be. This is called free will and I exercise my right to use it.
Proof? How about these. Please watch them from beginning to end though, skipping through won't help anybody.
