Who cares if someone bought the 5C or the 5S? Jesus. People can buy whatever they want. There are a lot of factors that go into someone's purchase. Some people will want the 5S and some will want the 5C. Who cares. They're both great phones.

Less than the number of people who make threads about the 5c, i'll tell you that.

Wrong.

From Sept. 10 there are 11 pages of 5C threads.

From Sept. 20 there are 19 pages of 5S threads.

60% more "C" days, 40% fewer threads.

Also the 5C doesn't have a M7 motion co-processor like the 5S does. That's a pretty big deal IMO. It's worth about $100 right there (I mean people buy FitBits for $100 and the M7 chip gives you the same functionality without having to carry around a fitness tracker).

Both phones are made by Apple. Both are great phones. Who gives a damn who got what ... At least it's all apple.

The 5c is no rip off at all.... It's no slouch when it comes to speed.

If your a fan of Apple just be happy everyone got an Apple product. Threads like these is what makes these damn forums unbearable

Got my wife a 5S, gold 64gb. I had to go by the Verizon store on another matter and while waiting I played with the 5C on display. Did not like the feel or look of the plastic case. I'm glad we went with the S. She didn't like any of the colors of the C and wanted (and loves) the fingerprint sensor.

Have both the 5C and 5S...
Same thing guys.
After one week with both phones, in my view it comes down to:
Do you like awesome colors with a grippy case...
Or the old 5 style with a less grippy but nice leather-looking case.
Otherwise, same experience.

I'm sorry, but I don't agree with this. I tried both phones at a local store side by side. When I open Safari and rotate the phone without rotation lock, there is noticeable UI lag in the iPhone 5C. The iPhone 5S does not have this much lag and is noticeably faster. Try that several times and let me know the results.

I feel this is a valid test as many people use iPhone with rotation on a daily basis, so I feel that this lag is unacceptable for a brand new phone. This is just my opinion though.

I believe we'll see the 5S pull ahead in a year or so, when more apps take advantage of the 64 bit architecture.

That is doubtful. The chip is faster than the 5c but switching to 64 bit will not make it faster measurably. It is mostly a marketing gimmick at this point. Apple really should not of even mentioned it during the release. They should of just focused on the speed improvements in the processor itself.

Wrong.

Are these of people trying to justify their purchase? If so, I stand corrected.

I'm not caught up in the 5s/5c hype I went and got me two discounted discontinued iPhone 5's at target was a great deal and everyone thinks it's the new one anyway ;)

Oh and I ditched Sprint and ported to Verizon
