I would have gotten a straight grey or silver, but I prefer the white over black. I might even consider the "C" case if it had the internals of the 5S, but maybe not. Hmm...

That's a good thought. I was thinking more in terms of manufacturing process, space gray might be the easiest to produce.

Only thing about the space grey is that the ring is just black, not iron grey like the box shows.

Yeah I was just trying it out in bright light now. It looks like a shiny black ring but not very distinct.

I woke up at 2:53 am and was able to order a 32GB gold from the App Store. It's supposed to ship in 1-3 business days.

I ordered the silver 64 GB last night 3 minutes after it came online on my carriers website.... all sizes (black or silver) ship oct. 4-9 and gold is 6-10 weeks..... gotta love Canada
