i should sell my 6 plus and wait for the iphone 8s, i heard its gonna be incredible

People keep saying this.... Wait for the 15s har har. But I think it is more in terms of fixing issues with a new form factor. The s series typically does a good job at this. Of course it will likely come with a new set of problems as well. But in another thread poll one quarter of 6(+) owners have issues. Not great. Might just be worth waiting.

What issues does the OP have? None.

What color 6+ did you get? The reason I ask is because when I purchased my gold 5S with a red leather case from apple, the red dye on the inside of the case rubbed into gold of the 5S. I didn't buy the red case this time, but opted for the white silicone case because of it

Space Gray. I couldn't find a gold one at all. Really wanted one in gold, but have to admit that aside from me knowing what color it is, I don't think anyone cares. I thought that the 'silver' one looked too retro and cheap.

But in the end, it wouldn't have mattered. It's a phone, it's in a 'Fort Knox' case, and, um, whatever...

LOL! That crescent shape is within the camera module itself. Some have posted if you switch back and forth the front facing camera, it loosens something within the module and you can see this crescent shape appear looking into the camera lens. It happened to someone jogging and may be cause by simply joggling the phone to cause it to happen.

Your post was the first I'd ever heard of it. *shrug*

As long as it doesn't make my pictures look worse, because Ford knows they could look better, I don't care. I'm still amazed that at a concert, the pictures that I take still don't look as good at the droid users next to me. I've had people email me copies of the pictures they have taken because mine are so bad.

Yeah, MacRumors is the MacDaddy and what MacDaddy says goes. On a serious note, I'm keeping it. I've had no related issues like some have experienced. It's maddening to read all these complaints.

Honestly, some of the complaining and nitpicking that people do on *ANY* site that solicits and accepts comments can make you honestly sorry that you were born.

Some of the most inane comments should be gathered and put in a bok, and then immediately burned.

Don't....Read....Them....! Always take things with a grain of salt over here. While there are SOME legit complaints, you have to realize there are trolls that come here too and say things about their 6 Plus that isn't true just to light a spark upon people as has happened to you.

Use MR LOOSELY as a guide before you buy your product. After you get it, get the hell outta here and enjoy your Apple product. :D. You will be much happier when you do.

That goes for everywhere.

I always take the bottom x-number and the top x-number of reviews and throw them out, forget them. What's left is possibly something close to the truth. If a product is 100% solid bad reviews, I usually pass on it. I mean, like Peter Pan on NBC. I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot, ethernet cable...

in the end it's you who's going to use that iphone and not anyone else. don't let any other people's opinion about certain things be a factor in your decision. at the end of the day, it's your phone so the best decision is to decide for yourself. think of it this way - you'll end up using that for a good 2 years and not so and so, and not your neighbor and not your friend. now i need to throw back that question to you and decide for yourself - do you want to keep your iphone ?

Apples incremental updates I've never found worth waiting for unless its like a month or 2 away. The 6S or whatever they call it will offer more but in the end it won't be worlds better then the 6.

With only a couple exceptions I've found this to be true with all of Apples devices (iPhones, macs, ATV's etc etc).

The only way the phone will not bend with a case on is if the case is unbendable. I dont know where this theory that a case will prevent it from bending.

Don't over think it. I'm a college student with a 6+ so it's been around. And it's been perfect so far

It can certainly help prevent it in more situations by adding some more bulk to the phone making it less thin across its surface area which makes it harder to bend.

This is why I went with the Amzer Cresta case. It has tempered glass on both sides. Create a more rigid phone.

:)

The more I read through these threads here at MacRumors, the more I get insecure about my 6+ purchase. I've had it for 2 days and I'm already worried about it bending when I applied the silicone case cover (made by Apple)...

What else ____-gates have I missed?

You should return it if you are so fearful. Life is too short to be in fear like that. You should save your fear for things like Ebola or the new Seth Rogan movie being delayed or even cancelled due the Sony hack.

Return it.
Buy a landline.
Stay in your house at all times.

You may have missed the issue with the FCC logo and some people actually recommending to use sandpaper to remove it. I did, didn't like it at first, but now I have really grown to like it.

If you don't like your phone and don't enjoy using it, return it and maybe donate the money to charity if that would make you less fearful.

If you want to return your 6+ and wait for the 6+s, then you may as well wait for the iPhone 7+. Scratch that...the 7+s or the 8+ may even be better.

Sit back and enjoy your phone.

If you are unhappy wait for next year's model.

If you are happy but just getting psyched out for the next big thing over the horizon, just learn to be content with what you have.
