If I'm wearing certain pairs of jeans, I am unable to sit, squat, or lean over (eg. to the extent of tying my shoes) with the 6 Plus in my front pocket. Definitely a lot better if I'm wearing basketball shorts or something of the sort.

Thanks. Although I'll always lust for the larger screen of the Plus, I think the smarter thing FOR ME to do at this point is to get the regular 6.

Ask this user if you can seat with your iphone inside:

Beside highschool girls who on earth carry their phones in their back pockets?
Ladies carry purses and men have front pockets and inside sport coat jackets.

Front pockets. The thread is about bending and sitting while carrying a phone in the front pockets. Not back pockets.

I probably wear the skinniest jeans here and it fits fine. Mine have fairly deep pockets for skinnies though. They're just h&m skinny jeans (not to be confused with their more common slim fit). They're pretty damn tight.

I plan on getting a special pocket sewed on the side of all my pants and jeans. Will not risk bending. I think large phones / phablets will lead to this becoming a standard pocket in the fashion industry. In the winter it is less of an issue living in NY when I'll have a jacket.

I have the iPhone 6+ and wear Banana Republic straight leg jeans. These aren't necessarily skinny nor are they baggy but I do notice that the pockets are slightly tight.

When I stand, I cannot see the phone at all as it is about 1/4 inch from the top of the pocket. it does afford me a little wiggle room where I can adjust the phone in the pocket towards the side of my leg (rather than on top of it). This allows me to sit down without feeling like the phone is bending. not sure if you all do that or are able to do that but maybe try it out as a solution.

I haven't had any issues bending or sitting. I tend to wear khakis or dress pants to work, and it's been fine. I've also put the 6 Plus in my jeans pockets (Banana Republic, straight fit), and it fits fine.

I'm aware of that however,
I was responding to all those in this thread who were mentioning sitting on them because of back pocket storage.
