6 Plus to 6 Exchange a success!

Has anyone had any success in doing the opposite (exchange 6 for 6 plus) or inquired about it? I purchased the 6, but have been curious how I'd feel about the 6 plus once I have a chance to check it out. I know stock is limited at the moment, I'm just wondering what options you'd have if you decided you wanted the bigger phone.

Deciding between the two wasn't easy for me, in the end I figured the transition from the 4" iPhone 5 to the 4.7" iPhone 6 would be easier than jumping into a 5.5" phone, and by the time I did my pre-order I wasn't going to be able to get the 6 plus on launch day. So far I've been happy with my choice, but still I'm curious if I'd like the bigger phone more.

And I too am having trouble understanding the whole "my iPhone is superior to your iPhone" thing.

Apple has managed to tear the brother/sisterhood apart.

It's similar to Apple vs. Android except now it's a civil war within Apple fans.

This is nothing new. On the iPad forum, people swear that either the Air or the Mini is objectively superior to the other, and that anyone who prefers the other is delusional or stupid. It's weird to me that so many people apparently feel that the reasons for their product choices are universally applicable, but they do.

I pre-ordered the 64gb Black 6 Plus online and got it via UPS. 2 year contract upgrade through AT&T. I didn't enjoy the size but LOVED everything else. After fondling some iPhone 6's I knew I had chosen wrong.

I drove to the closest Apple Retail Store today not knowing what to expect. I arrived an hour before they opened to find about 20 people ahead of me. I had my 6 Plus in my breast pocket and naturally my line mates struck up a conversation about it, asking to hold it, try a pocket test, etc. I obliged and all of the people wanting a 6 Plus changed their mind.

I got to say, Apple fans are some of the coolest, friendliest people I know.

I was in and out of the store in 45 minutes with a new 64gb iPhone 6 Space Grey in hand, it was possibly the most enjoyable time waiting in line, the smoothest process to do the exchange, the coolest Apple employees.

Days like today are reasons why I love Apple!

Did you buy it on upgrade? Because I wanted to switch colors but brought it on an upgrade. I want to see how it works if I just wanted to exchange. Would I have to return wait till my upgrade restores then buy again. Or can I just do a exchange.

i didn't before, but after you asked I read it again because I am known to miss things. Can I take a stab at it? You made this thread because you committed the ultimate sacrifice and purchased an iPhone 6+. While this alone isn't new thread worthy, the fact that you traveled through several trials and tribulations, and luckily ended up in a position to help others is.

Being quick on your feet, those people in line were waiting in line for something you already had, so you put it in your breast pocket so they could see it. You swiftly informed them that you were there to take it back, and you convinced them all that they shouldn't get it, and they agreed. They were the coolest group of people ever since they changed their minds because of your commitment op. The coolest.

It is a shame you couldn't have gotten there sooner op. Sooner so you could save all of the uncool, unknowing people who bought the 6+ like you mistakenly did. You made this thread to reach those people that you missed op. Your work isn't fine until everyone exchanges. One iPhone 6+ exchanged at a time.

You can do an exchange. Just would want to make sure the color you want is in stock.
