I've also been watching my Celluar Data usage in Settings today at work. I do not have any sort of Wi-Fi here, strictly on LTE. So far, since about 8:30 AM, my Celluar Usage has gone from ~650 MB to 702 MB. All I have done is gone on Facebook and Twitter, and did a quick app search in the App Store to see if there were any data tracking apps (didn't download anything). How could I have used over 50 MB already today just from this? Absurd.

50 MB is theoretically possible. The App Store seems to use a chunk. I just did a quick test, opened up the App Store, and searched for Data Tracker like yo had. It returned results, and I looked at the reviews of one. That was 5 MB of data right there. Considering how graphically intense the App store is, it seems like it uses a decent amount. How long did you surf around the App store? As I said, I literally did it for 2 minutes, and that's what I used.

Same issue here. Phone shows that I've received over 700 MB since Friday, Verizon reports 360 MB, but point is I haven't done anything (as far as I know) that would remotely reach that number. Other than watching two music videos on youtube, no streaming of video. I did listen to some streamed podcasts, maybe an hour total, but that can't account for the reported usage.

Don't they throttle you?

As far as I can tell, no. I'm on Verizon, however.

My understanding is that they only throttle 3G. Perhaps they are throttling me, but it's still enough speed to stream HD video through tethering.

At some point I came to the realization that it would be cheaper to tether on 4G LTE than buy a home DSL or cable Internet connection. The speeds on Verizon's network are fantastic, and it only costs me $30 a month to tether, on top of the normal fees.

4 GIGS in these past days with iPhone (since launch). no prbolem since i have 20gb shared plan

I'm using a lot of data and a lot of it is from watching youtube and using Siri.

I've used over 4GB, (thats right GB's) of data since friday.
I have unlimited data on verizon.
I didnt buy the phone to keep it on wi-fi all damn day.
Take that verizon.

Lte is so fast I turned off wifi and haven't turned it back on. Already over 1 gb since Friday. Hopefully officer throttle won't come to soon. It's going to be devastating after using lte.

I had the same thing

Turn off photostream and icloud. I wasnt sharing a photo stream or didnt have much in icloud but I went from 10M a mile to proper levels
