Mine gets pretty hot too if I'm using it a lot. Not burning hot, just really warm. Kinda used to it though coming from androids. This isn't normal for apples?

Mine ran hot the first time I took it out of the box and set it up (iCloud restore, and I had it plugged in). Since then, it's been great.

Received the phone a few hours ago, updated it to iOS 9.1 PB 2, reset (erase all contents and settings), and then started the restore from iCloud. The phone just came out of the initial restore phase and I can finally see / use some of it. The top portion (top 1-1/2 to 2 inches - front and back) of the phone is scorching hot. Hotter than any other time I've felt an iPhone. Did I just overwork the thing? During all this time its been sitting on my bed in a room cooled to 68º.
Mine too, received my 6s+ last Friday. But this week getting much better !
