There's another thread about the October 16+ ship dates from AT&T for the 6s plus. No one has an earlier date. As such, they may ship out earlier, might not but I'd bet they will.

6S+ phones ordered through ATT.com, not apple or Apple app, what's your delivery date?

Hmmm! That's interesting that everyone has the exact same date, no matter when they ordered...whether at 3 AM or a few minutes ago..
Why would you not pay everything off ahead of time -- at least a couple days to a week prior? That's what I did so I would have ZERO issues.
Nope. Said you might get it sooner or later. Didn't want to be responsible for not really knowing. Don't blame them.
I went through this mess last year with the 6 plus and it was a disaster using att . I kept on trying to tell myself I'd get in on launch day and had to wait a week and ordered it right at 3am est...don't want to be the bad news for you but some will get it on launch day but many won't as well. Order straight from Apple. Apple will provide priority to Apple orders
The issue for me is that I`m premiere legacy ATT client, only option via Apple.com for upgrade seem to be only to move to next, which I did not want to do....
Ordered at 2:50am EST (10 mins before launch) got October 16 to 16 ship dates am I the only one that has this? It's pretty much a fact nobody with a plus got 25th delivery since I was one of the first people to order.

I got my confirmation email at 2:45am EST, so I ordered before that, which is at least 5 minutes before your order on my Gold 128GB Plus, and it too says October 16-23.
Ouch. Well, there is hope. Keep checking and good luck. The good news is that the demand shouldn't be as high as last year. What color did you order? If you ordered Rose Gold, the odds might be against you...
I think a lot of people fail to recognize that people who ordered through att did so for the subsidy...
You're right, but it's a bummer that those of us who prefer contract prices and our current plans are severely limited.
I preordered my 6s at a T-Mobile this morning. They were telling a guy that all the 6s+ models were on backorder for October....
Had Oct 16-23. Decided to buy full price from Apple. Will def. be switching carriers next year. I was on the website at 2:47am EST. Obviously, the same as last year, they have no stock. I ordered in the first two minutes last year and didn't get mine till Oct 10th. Def. going to go to Tmobile after I hear how well the new band on the iPhone is working out for them. Tired of the SAME OLD ATT.
I just did a chat to ask about the October 16-23 dates. Essentially I was told like it was a bug that happens sometimes and I would see the phone by the 24 as originally shown. (Though I actually didn't look before the order to see if the 24 was originally shown for me). The only flaw in my question was that I said I ordered an "iPhone 6 Plus" not 6s Plus! Oops. Though I think he knew what I meant since he said the 24th in his response. I hope this is true! If another person wants to ask in chat for a second opinion that may be helpful. 
Ordered my SO's 6s Space Gray 128gb through AT&T and got the 25th, at about 3 minutes after 3am. Finished and went to do my upgrade, and it instantly quoted me Oct. 16-23rd. Closed it down and used the Apple Store app.
