I can get a 64GB 6s+ today from the Apple store, BUT the freaking idiots at AT&T cannot cancel my existing order that they never shipped because it is "PREPARING TO SHIP."

Idiots.

Memo to self:
Never, ever order from AT&T store again! Better to just reserve for pickup at Apple Store.

That's what happened to me only it was the reverse. I found the phone I wanted at AT&T but Apple would not let me cancel my order. Oh not this year but 3 years ago when I got my 5s.

I am the opposite.

I have a 128GB 6+, and felt guilty, spending so much money. I mean I normally go for the $399, but it was only $100 more. so I did it, and realized, crap I spent $500.

I went through my phone, deleted all the apps I don't use and could care less about. Low and behold I was below 32GB, or right around there.

So I went for 64GB this time.

I have a 64 gb iPhone 5s and finding very little free space. So, I'm getting the 128 gb iPhone 6s Plus. I know I need it ;)

You won't regret it.

I had a 64 6 Plus with 9 gigs remaining.

I upgraded to 6S Plus with 128 gigs and I have 62 remaining, 1 day in. I'm pleased at all the music and pics I'm able to possess and still have PLENTY of room to grow for the next 2 years until I get a 7S.

I, honestly, don't think there is any difference at all. I've had a Premier account (because of my FAN discount) and haven't seen anything different at all.

Premier means you have some sort of corporate or organization discount, or being a government worker.

It usually says "FAN" in your account - not sure what that stands for.

Oh, that doesn't sound right. So you will be out of town on Monday when your phone arrives?
Yep. Got to wait until Wednesday. I think that's why I'm so bent out of shape over this complete lack off regard to any sort of time line order fulfilling by AT&T. True, they didn't promise me Friday, but something doesn't seem right when orders placed hours later get filled ahead of previous orders.

What irks me is the other guy who said he ordered 4 days later and still received his iPhone 6s+ on launch day.

Remember, if you chose to change your settings for video taking to 4k(default is 1080p at 30fps:1 min=130mb) then 1 min of video is 375mb, 3x times more then default. That means 3 min of video taking is 1 Gb, over time 128mb wont be enough. iPhone 7 should go up to 250gb to accommodate the 4K video taking.

as i have learned last year. I ordered at 11:52pm on pre order night and got it the Monday after launch(6+64gbSG). it is not when you order, it is the model and color you choose that determines when you get your phone. ATT only gets so much of every model/Color/GB and if you got one of the most popular it will be delayed. Sucks if you have to order with them. I decided this year to not get Space Grey since it is the most popular. If it is going in a case who cares what color it is right. So for next year i would just get a non popular color and you should be good......

I ordered a 128GB 6s Plus in Space Grey on ATT.com at around 3:53am EDT. Showing a shipping window of October 16th - 23rd.

Same here (might have been 3:30AM EDT).

BUT it came through as Rose Gold, so I had to cancel it. It took multiple phone calls on Saturday afternoon to get it canceled and if I ordered a new one it was even a week later in one color and another week later in the other (Space Grey or Silver).

So I got a 128GB Silver with a 25th date and a new line of Rose Gold 64GB for 26th - Oct 3rd (or whatever the range).

Took me 5 hours on the phone with AT&T to do this. Last phone call was OVER 3 hours! Ended around 5pm on Saturday, Sept. 12th.

Both phones arrived yesterday (Sept. 25).

So, since I'm Monday delivery I went to Apple Store today to play with 3D Touch, which by the way is very cool. There was a line of about 50 people, including a lady I work with and her daughter. She said they were told it would be about a 2.5 hour wait. Yeesh!

Also, the rose gold is truly pretty. It's pink, but it's not, if that makes any sense. Picture a light rose nail polish with a sheer gold top coat. There you go!

Order placed: 09/12/2015 at 10:18:32 PM EDT

Ordered the 6S+ Rosegold 64 GB

No tracking # yet. Just says "In Progress"

Estimated ship dates:
October 23, 2015 - October 30, 2015

I received an email today from ATT about activating my phone online. I was hopeful that might mean it would ship soon....

Just a comment about FEDEX & Saturday delivery. Saturday delivery is wicked expensive. I ship out quite a bit via FEDEX and most of my stuff is between $11-12 to ship overnight, but a Saturday delivery jumps the price to $50+. So I never ship Saturday delivery.

Started as 10-27 to 11-3, moved up to 10-20-10-27, then I found I could cancel at local Simply Mac here (where I had placed order) and my status was refreshed right away not 24 hours later (amazing) and I was able to walk out with my AT&T next 128 GB Space Gray 6s Plus on opening day. So it never hurts to go and ask I think they had more inventory on opening day with the 6S and 6S Plus.

The amazing thing is that the AT&T store had a bunch but they said they would not even try to order me one in stock I would have to wait til next day with no hold on one. So I left. Simply Mac said that was same for them. But I decided the date range it if held would be an issue for me, and I canceled and then the store rep found that I was instantly back qualified for my next plan purchase of 20 months and I could take the one they had. Never hurts to try.. I think this store has some kind of good setup with AT&t and such.

I have that also, I also am an early iphone adopter with a 3GS or whatever it was called ;-) too many versions ha ha since. Anyway I also am one of those grandfathered users with unlimited data. Got my wife a regular 6 early in year for her first cell phone. So not sure how it all works out it also may have been that I used a local mac reseller called Simply Mac. Their relationship with AT&T and willingness to try anything meant I got my phone on Friday. and as i said after canceling my end of October time frame order which usually means a 24 hour wait before your status changes back to qualified. AT&T store would not try, but these guys would.

Mines oct 23 - 30

Do you guys think it will actually take that long or is that just att putting an extra long date to make them look like superstars once you get it 2 weeks ahead of that, I fell like I was in this situation before with them

What do you guys think? Anyway I ordered the 64gb silver plus so I feel like it's not the most popular in demand one, I always got the black(now space grey) and figured I'd try out the white
