You really don't understand, do you? It will check every week. The last time it checked was today - now it will check a week from today. iTunes has always behaved like this - and has never corresponded to when an iOS software update is released.
My says it will check again on the 22nd. Hmm, it appears our iTunes are not agreeing with each other?!?
This guy must be a troll. He keeps posting nonsense like this which no one but a starfish could believe - and he keeps pointing out that he is a developer (which is highly unlikely considering how little he knows).
